Nisea Hotel Samos

I visited Nisea Hotel while I was looking for the right setting to work from home on my computer. As a digital nomad, all you need these days is a strong internet connection and the optimum environment around you to get your productivity going. Well., I found everything I needed in this place; the sea view from my window was charging my batteries every time I looked up and the walks around the green, rural land was clearing my mind twice per day. Peaceful place with unlimited fresh air, did good to my soul. Shops and coffee places are 10’ away and the incredible hosts, Anastasia and Alexandros, where more than helpful with transfers and any requests I had. They took good care of me, prepared amazing, nutritious breakfasts with local products and goods I never tasted before and in general they were very kind and warm. I am looking forward to returning to this place, without my laptop this time, and enjoy myself by the pool for hours!! Very thankful for such an experience and highly recommended.

The view from our apartment was magnificent and the staff was really willing to serve us and recommend to us local choices. I hope I will return back to this place soon in the summer and get the safari tour 🤞

We chose the hotel because I saw that was renovated in December, it is located away from the city noise and it had sea view. When we arrived there we came across the road that is very step and it was like: ‘’Welcome to Greece, the roads are crazy but good’’, and we were use to it, because is not our first time visiting one of many island of Greece. we were greeted by the owner and led to our room. On the way I saw that the tiles are dirty, like they were only prewashed after renovation, but without a final cleaning. The room was located at the first floor, let’s say not the upper one. The owner told me that the rooms at that floor was for bigger family not for us(two persons), even that I saw during our stay more than one couple in upper floors. But it didn’t matter, we said thank you to the owner and start checking the room. That was the moment when I regretted my decision. Let me tell you why. On the second balcony there are growing some ****s. In the fridge we saw that the freezer was almost full of ice, maybe it was cleaned in December. In the bathroom there is any place to hang the shower, you have to keep it in your hand. The sink had one hole in it, and the water was dripping on the toilet paper, situated below the sink, on the support. The bath tube was old and the shower curtain wanted to make love with me every time I was taking a shower. The sheets had a strong smell of gasoline. I don’t know why. On the first balcony a lot of dirt even a smudge that was there our entire holiday. There are no mosquito screen at the door. In the night we killed some mosquitoes and left some blood trails on the bed sheets. however, the bedding was not changed at all during our stay. And the worst thing was the bed. There were two single beds joined with a double mattress on top of them. Because of that we had a big hump between us. After the first shower to the bed, without slippers, it turned out that I had to wash my feet again, because the tiles was dirty even in the room. I guess that the cleaning is done by a man (don’t offense to us guys) but in this case a woman touch is well needed. Maybe I'm more demanding, so don't trust me, see the attached pictures and decide for yourself the fate of your vacation.

I chose this place from *********** and stayed 2 nights and extended my stay 2 times more. The pool is perfect, the hosts are a lovely family, there is a private and secluded beach close by at the bottom of the hill. Their rooms have amazing views and are simple but very comfortable especially the beds;) I hope this place never changes, this is a special corner of the island, if you want crowds and noise nearby this is not for you, but if you rent a car and wish to explore the island properly this is a perfect base...I didn't want to leave, but life goes on, I'll be back I hope:)

Great hospitality surrounded by a tranquil setting. A much needed break from busy Athens. Room (Maisonette) was perfect as was all the facilities inside as well as the food / drinks provided at the bar/ restaurant. Would totally recommend this place for a complete reset of the soul. Overlooking the beach (nearby) with Asia Minor’s landscape less than kilometre away , was an extra valuable and unique treat. Thank you to all.

The owners Anastasia and Alexandros are extremely friendly and helpful. With great knowledge about the island of Samos they can provide you with useful tips to find hidden jems. Recently renovated. Sparkling clean. Nice view. Quiet location. And above all pet friendly!! Absolutely recommended.

Breathtaking location combined with great hospitality. Maisonette had the most perfect seaview one could desire with all the necessary facilities at my disposal. Nice snacks & drinks at the bar/restaurant too. Great place for a vacation if you want to completely switch off and immerse yourself in beautiful natural surroundings. Bravo sas!

The hotel is nice and the owners are really kind and helpful. The room was a bit disappointing though, as it was a bit old (which is not a great problem), and very very hot. The A/C was not able to cool both rooms so the first night was a nightmare. The second night we managed to switch it on way in advance and so we could sleep better but still not in a perfect way.

Very nice view!We loved the sunrise view while we were eating our breakfast. The apartment was fully renovated and very clean. The staff was really friendly and helpful for anything we needed! I definitely recommend this place!
