Nós realmente gostamos de Angsana como nosso primeiro lugar de estadia em Phuket. A localização é tranquila e longe do aborrecimento turístico, o território do hotel é lindo e descontraído, e a praia em frente ao hotel é ótima e não lotada, com água azul-turquesa e areia bege. O gerente de check-in Owen e o garoto do carrinho de golfe foram super amigáveis e nos deram uma boa introdução das comodidades. O quarto é um pouco antiquado, o que não me importa com a sensação rústica dele, no entanto, o hotel definitivamente se beneficiaria com a atualização de algumas das tecnologias do quarto, como interruptores, tomadas elétricas, iluminação e penteadeira. No geral gostamos e é ótimo para famílias que gostam de estar em um lugar tranquilo. Outra vantagem foi a proximidade com o aeroporto, o que ajudou bastante para a cansativa chegada noturna que tivemos.

Estava chovendo o tempo todo que estivemos lá. A maioria das áreas em Phuket está submersa. Serviço de hotel, comida e limpeza foi ótimo. A equipe do bar (no lobby) precisa ser mais amigável e extrovertida e tentar vender seus produtos.

Os quartos são enormes (temos o quarto standard), mas o resort é um pouco antiquado e poderia usar uma reforma. O parque infantil é ótimo, mas um pouco velho e precisa de uma boa esfoliação/limpeza profunda. As piscinas eram excelentes e nós apreciamos um passeio de caiaque na lagoa. A proximidade com a praia também é uma grande vantagem, e a praia é limpa e bem conservada. Geralmente recomendaria o hotel, ótimo valor.

The reception was slow in attending to our checking. rooms were dated although big. several areas not properly cleaned, like lamps. bed was terribly soft n old. desperately needs replacement. didn't expect this of an angsana hotel. we had just come from the racha where everything was impeccable, and price was similar to angsana. so comparison was very clear. killed a mossie in the room and there was blood on the floor, which was not cleaned for the remaining 2 nights we were there. disappointing with maintenance n upkeep. had to keep asking housekeeping for top up of mossie pads and essential oils for the burner.

The front desk staff is dumb and slow, not proactive and very lazy, you have to use very commanded words and attitude to order them otherwise you can't get what you want in this resort which deserves the brand the value. Overall environment is good, very relaxing, the resort is well maintained unless some construction ongoing. Beach is nice but NOT clean trash is not collcted and there are ***** after use laying on the beach.

We chose the hotel as the location for a long awaited family reunion with my husband’s family as they have a huge range of activities we felt would suit all the family. The hotel is in varying stages of renovation and upgrading which meant two of the restaurants were out of action which we were informed of upon our arrival. Our ‘grande’ room was also one which hasn’t yet been renovated and after 24 hours we realised that there was some mould in the room and our clothes and the bedding felt damp to the touch as well as the room smelling musty. The rooms of our family members had been renovated more recently and didn’t have any issues. I received an email for a ‘during stay survey’ and shared my feedback accordingly. I can’t fault the hotel’s response which was to contact me the same day and request to meet with me. I met an assistant manager, Joe, who was very helpful and we ended up moving rooms to a fabulous pool side room as well as receiving an invite to the excellent Thai buffet a their Baan Talay restaurant. I was genuinely impressed at the clear desire to receive feedback and make improvements. We’ll be returning some time in the next year and I look forward to enjoying the newly refurbished restaurants which were out of action this time. The breakfast buffet was varied and there was a huge range of complimentary activities which we didn’t get to try much of this time but look forward to on our next stay.
