Spatel d'Annam - Imperial Boutique Spa & Hotel

Best location in town, right next to the former imperial palace! The hotel is nice, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was good too. Started in a premium room, it was a spacious room, but no windows looking outside. The smaller rooms seem to have windows though, some of them even have balconies. All in all, we had a great time. Hotel staff helped with arranging drivers too for excursions. Two thumbs up 👍👍

Hotel was ancient medical centre, smell nice with lemongrass everywhere. Friendly staffs and fine breakfast. Great location. Bedroom is basic.

貌似是以前的太醫館舊址。酒店就在皇城東門邊，地理位置非常優越，服務人員很熱情，房間也很有特色。但可能因為客氣濕潤，房間又都在一樓，房間有股黴味。但總體還是很不錯的酒店！

夜遅くにチェックインしたのですが、わざわざ片付けしていたレストランに案内してくれました。

This hotel is a gem in Hue. Located a few minutes from the citadel’s east gate, it has everything one could wish for. The bedroom was big, with a large bathroom, including a huge shower area and a roll-top bath. The room was very clean. They had left some fruit on the desk. The A/C wasn’t working well, so maintenance came over and fixed it immediately. There is a breakfast room and two restaurants. There was some choice of gluten free food at breakfast. We tried one of the restaurants as well, and could order gluten free (and spice free) food easily. The outdoor area is lovely and you can have a drink or a meal in a very relaxing environment. The spa is excellent as well. The whole family treated themselves to an oriental massage. As it was my birthday while I was there, they surprised me a birthday cake (in the end we didn’t eat it, as we weren’t sure it was gluten free, but it was such a lovely surprise). Also, the driver we had booked to visit Hue’s landmarks was late, so the hotel staff called the tour company to check what was happening. Staff was very attentive. We would definitively recommend this hotel to anyone looking for accommodation in Hue. Five stars!

We stayed 2 nights at this delightful boutique hotel in the heart of the Old City of Hue. A stone's throw from the Imperial City Walls, the hotel has lovely traditional decor and comfortable room offerings. The staff are amazingly helpful and the restaurant on site is also really lovely. We will definitely go back.

My recent stay at the Spatel Hue was truly memorable, thanks to the exceptional service from the GM and team . Their warmth and hospitality, include the Front Office,HK,F&B of the hotel, went above and beyond, making our trip experience genuinely special. Although the short stay , I'm grateful for their attention to detail and caring approach. Highly recommended for a stay where you feel valued and welcomed. Bravo to the all Team & GM

Upon arrival we were warmly greeted, and had a complimentary ginger tea! The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was very small and the bath was 3/4 bath so would not have been great! The shower was over the bath and the water pressure was very low, to the point of saying it was the worse shower I’ve had in Vietnam so far, after weeks of traveling. I was a little disappointed that the renewed bath mat had hair over it. The swimming pool was a lovely addition after a day exploring Hue. Breakfast was Asian buffet style. If you wanted a drink in the evening you were directed to the tea/coffee area, which was dark and empty and the adjoining restaurant would serve you there. As the restaurant was not full, we would have thought you could have a drink there instead. The hotel is right next door to the Imperial City and you need to get a taxi into the more lively area for restaurants and bars.

*Good things Beautiful old building in a very good location . Breakfast was great offering good quality and variety. Chef attending to make your request. Definitely worth a visit to the spa for a stone massage. The best I have ever had at a very good price. Pool is clean and well maintained. Room slightly small but to be expected in that area of Hue. *Needs improvement Water pressure is very low so hard to wash your hair. While the building is beautiful, the garden and pond area needs some cleaning
