Star Apartments - Petah Tiqwa

I don't even have one positive thing to say about Star Apartments Petah Tikva. On the first day we were met by a pushy manager that wouldn’t stop pressing us for payment, even before we even got out of the car in the extremely questionable parking lot, more on that later on. Once we entered the lobby we were met by dead cockroaches and poor hygiene. The cleanliness in the apartment matched the standards of the lobby which required us to clean it ourselves with disinfectant, out of our own pocket. When booking our stay we were promised a proper parking space, what we got was an unsafe, small underground parking lot that we were unable to use during our stay and had to instead park outside and pay more money in parking fees. The parking lot was not only unsafe but also could potentially damage the underneath of our car because of uneven and bumpy surfaces. Moreover, the apartment itself was not large enough for 4 people, there was barely any room for anything. The place barely had the necessary furniture to be called an ‘’apartment’’, for instance, there were no nightstands next to the bed, and only 1 table-like surface in the entire room in which we could put our things on. It was almost not possible to open the wardrobe because one of the beds and a door was blocking it. Forget about ever opening a window as the room is facing towards the street allowing all the noise and dust to freely enter the apartment. The apartment itself is in a terrible area, both by looks and feel. The streets look run down, and the houses feel like they are falling apart. I thoroughly regret choosing Star Apartments Petah Tikva, and will never EVER come back. It’s definitely worth paying a bit more in order to avoid this place.
