Hotel Bella Peschiera

Tutto benissimo, stanza molto pulita e asciugamani morbidissimi. Il cuscino era troppo basso per i miei gusti ma é soggettivo

Bellissima vacanza. Grazie a tutto lo staff dell hotel Bella Peschiera Salutoni a Matteo , Elena, Misha e a tutti voi 😀 Everything was nice: great location, nice room with a big balcony and a.c., nice breakfast, nice food, fine ale and nice wine too 😀

Room was clean,,but no drawers for clothes,only one plug socket,no teas or coffee in room,,breakfast was very basic but ok, continental breakfast,,staff were friendly and helpful ,location was great for closeness to beach and shops,and restaurants

A fabulous hotel. The rooms are very small, 2 adults sharing we had to live from our cases on the floor. No drawers and the safe was on the shelf where the suitcase would sit. A hanging rail above had limited hangars. The hospitality more than made up for the small room. The staff were excellent, so friendly and helpful. Nothing was ever too much trouble. The lady on late on reception was great. Gave us lots of tips on things to do and how to get around. Sasha worked tirelessly at breakfast, dinner and on the bar. Breakfast was continental and had a great selection of food. We are in one evening and the steak was amazing! Only a 10 minute walk to the centre of Peschiera with lots of nice restaurants and shops. Literally just up the road from the lake. Would definitely stay here again. Newly refurbished and decorated it looks really clean and fresh. Some photos on the internet are old, doesn't look like the same place now, beautiful!

Without doubt and without exception, their staff are their greatest asset. Nothing was too much trouble, and everyone was extremely pleasant. The room we had was more than adequate, with a sunny balcony to rest on after a busy day walking. Breakfast was plentiful and with many choices. If I had one complaint, it was the coffee, but there again, I was underwhelmed by the coffee in other establishments. Perhaps I just dont like Italian coffee?

Small hotel on the outskirts of town (15-min stroll); not big rooms but adequate for a short stay. We found 'all' the staff friendly and most helpful. When we stayed they had two German touring parties back to back bookings. But the kitchen looked after us even though they had a good 30+ other folk to look after. Food was so good and reasonable, we ate in 5 nights out of 6 (we were staying B & B through Jet2). Good outside seating, and a lovely pool area that was hardly used. Would we stay there again? Certainly would. Only down was the lift was out of order, and had been for some time. No problem for us on the 1st floor, and we are in our eighties.

I’ll start my review by saying all of the staff were excellent, but for the hotel it’s self that’s where the compliment’s ends. The hotel throughout is very run down and needs some serious work doing to bring it to an acceptable level, when we first entered the room we were given it didn’t look like it had been cleaned for weeks, dust everywhere, the toilet wasn’t much better, the toilet seat was hanging off, which I immediately reported was still hanging off the day we left. The lift wasn’t working which seems to be the norm after reading other people’s comments, cleaner’s trollies blocking fire escape routes, light fittings hanging off. The pool areas don’t fare much better, dirty pool which was only cleaned the day we left, weeds growing all around the pool and cheap mainly broken pool furniture, the continental breakfast was the same every morning, people may benefit if a toaster was provided . It’s a shame that the hotel is in this very poor condition as it’s in a great position for the lake and lovely days and nights in the old town, I would definitely return to holiday destination but most definitely not this hotel, two stars and that’s been over generous.

Wonderful staff, especially receptionists. Very helpful and welcoming, couldn't do more. Hotel a bit tired, could do with an upgrade. Breakfast was continental, unfortunately same thing every day...but just ok. Lift wasn't working and had to get room moved from the top floor to 1st floor, very accommodating. Pool was clean and tidy, surrounding area could do with weeding. Went B&B only.. luckily as there appeared to be very few eating evening meals. Lunch time menu and food was fine. Peschiera is a lovely area,like the rest of Lake Garda. Not so sure if we would return to the same hotel.

This review is of the hotel only and not the staff who were very helpful. They spoke perfect English which we don't need as I speak enough Italian to get by. This hotel is the worst hotel we have stayed in across all of Italy and we've been coming to Italy since 1983. The room had stained toilet seat, was very cramped, small balcony with a high step down from the room which I would say is potentially hazardous. The evening meal was partly inedible and the swimming pool was out of order. The local camping site pool was offered as an alternative but this was not a suitable substitution. After travelling round Garda all day you don't expect to have to walk a kilometre with costume and towels and then trail all the way back to the hotel. Unacceptable. There were lots of biting insects around which can be the normal and potentially not attributable to the hotel, however the old garden pond lying next to the seating are, full of green water suggests this is also down to the hotel. The whole experience reminded me of Costa Brava in the 70s but actually it was an awful lot worse than that.
