Pierre le Grand

The Pierre Le Grand Hotel in Pereslavl-Zalessky was built based on the Pharmaceutical Garden, founded by decree of Peter the Great for growing medicinal herbs. Its history began in 1706 behind the Sukharev Tower, on the northern outskirts of Moscow, with the planting of three coniferous trees. Peter The Great, according to legend, planted spruce, fir and larch "to teach citizens in their differences." The garden was managed by the most prominent scientists with no less outstanding organizational skills. By their efforts, by the end of the 19th century, the garden turned into one of the centers of Russian science and became a favorite vacation spot for Muscovites and guests of the capital. Our hotel, like a walk through a coniferous forest, allows guests to relieve stress and fatigue. The interior, atmosphere and air contribute to the complete relaxation of the whole organism.
