Both times I've stayed here this past year, I've had to wait about 20 minutes before getting my room because they were still cleaning. That's fine, doesn't bother me. I get what understaffed and overworked feels like, so I recommend showing up about an hour AFTER check-in. With this trip, our bathroom door didn't latch, the toilet barely flushed, the bathroom smelled kind of weird, the TV only got 2 channels, the hot tub was down so that was kind of a bummer, but the real kicker was how funky our blankets and sheets smelled. Both my boyfriend and I noticed it when we first got into bed but didn't say anything about it until it just came up in conversation the next morning. We chalked it up to the cross country group that booked out the hotel the night before, but you'd think a good wash would take the smell of B.O. out of the blanket. Honestly, I doubt they were actually washed. Anyway, at least the staff was nice.

There was an incident that caused the front door of the hotel to shatter while I was getting food from the driver. Worst experience ever! Never staying here again!

Beds were comfortable and pillows were good. Convenient location. Room area is pretty good but the bathroom was dirty and in need up updating and maintenance.

Bad battery in smoke detector making a beeping sound. Hotel didn’t have any extra batteries or rooms to move to and made no attempt to make things right.

Everything was wonderful until the last evening. When I went to bed around 1130 I noticed that it sounded like the fan on the heating stopped. I thought it had just stopped at the temperature that was set. I woke up around 3 AM and the unit was completely turned off and would not turn on and the room is freezing.. I let the front desk know, and the caretaker went down and confirmed that the heating was broke. I asked if I could have a refund for that last night and they said they would have to talk to the manager. I will reach out to them on Tuesday to see if they will refund me since I did not have heat the entire night that I was sleeping.

The staff was extremely friendly. The room was fairly clean, although the tub and bathroom floor were pretty dirty. The furnishings are older but nice. The room is spacious and quiet and the mini fridge and microwave are a plus! Plenty of places to park and it seems fairly convenient to restaurants (only in town for the night, didn't do too much exploring).
