The environment was comfortable, and the services were great.

Per all issues stated below, I sent numerous emails to the Manager and to Reception also after I checked in on a Friday afternoon about 4.30 pm, given one Key fob for 2 of us to Room 217. My partner joined me by the Sunday until checkout the following Friday by 10 am. Issues were not rectified satisfactorily or at all. The cleanliness of the Bathroom was not the best at all. The toilet seat was worn and grimey. We had to use wet wipes to clean it and the back crevice of the seat. All very grimey. This all made us feel sick. On the Toilet pedestal there were hairs and there were hairs on the floor so I got a dustpan and swept those up. Around the bathroom sink taps there was a build up of grime. We tried to wipe it off with wipes as it made me feel sick. Grime did not wipe off. Grout appeared to be mouldy. We understood that cleaning is done weekly, or there is a charge of $50. However, I would have thought per WHS that Bathrooms would be cleaned after Guests vacate and before the next Guest/s arrive/s? The room was serviced on the following Monday again, but still not cleaned well. Followed Hotel instructions on using the Aircon unit. Only problem is there were no markings on the temperature dial so we could not accurately know if We had it set correctly to 22 degrees. In the Hotel information document it stated that if one requires fresh linen at any time please take linen down to reception for exchange. Reception Staff told me they don't do this and that service of apartments is every seven days. I pointed out what is written in Hotel information documents. I wasn't staying two weeks, so that was not helpful. Then Reception Staff told me to find the House Manager on above floors, who could not be found. I found the Cleaner on level 2 who was very helpful. In the Bathroom - plastic toilet seats are inexpensive and it should have been replaced a long time ago! We had ongoing issues with the door locking from the inside and outside. Fridge leaked water underneath the unit. We had not damaged it. No matter what level the Fridge or Freezer was set to, it kept leaking intermittently. Fridge was also freezing contents in the lower shelves.

The ‘apartment’ was small but had a kitchenette, The bed was comfortable, but the whole space needs updating as the carpet is old and stained and bathroom very dated. Our room was surprisingly quiet considering being so near busy Pennant Hills Rd.

Loved the value for money accommodation. It suited our needs perfectly. Good size room and your facilities were great. One thing to think about is the little things that make a difference. Toilet seat (125) that you sit on has gone yellow and the plastic is deteriorating. It would help with cleanliness if thing like that were in better condition. However, loved the dishwasher in the kitchen facilities. Nice layout of the room.

I remember this establishment as being a former Country Comfort Hotel and must have been really something back in it's heyday. There are sufficient hints that it is no longer maintained to the same level as back in the day....but I guess age and the need to keep rates down as much as possible means that, at least for us, it was good enough for an overnight stay. As long as your expectations aren't too high it should be ok.

Comfortable, quiet, clean and spacious rooms with kitchenette with free onsite parking conveniently located within an easy walking distance to the railway station and shops. The railway station a quick direct route into the city. Free wifi provided and the site is very secure.

Your accommodation was excellent - easy to find - easy to get into after hours and very close to Pennant Hills Day Surgery - where I had a procedure. It was also quite easy to get to if you follow the navigation in the car. Restaurants were within walking distance - definitely suited our purpose and I have told other people about it already.

Overpriced for the tired room I stayed in and the 3.30am wake-up to an evacuation alarm going off (something malfunctioned - we all stood outside while the fire service flicked a few switches and confirmed there was no actual issue) wasn't ideal. Bed was comfortable and that's about the best thing I can say

Room was very good with plenty of space. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Motel is well situated being reasonably close to the freeway if coming from the north making it quicker to get moving back home. Would be a good base if you are visiting friends or family in the north western suburbs.
