The top floor of the hotel is a terrace bar, the scenery is beautiful, you can walk to Patan Palace. The price is slightly higher than the surrounding area, but it is worth it.

Shaligram was the perfect base to explored Nepal! I would definitely stay again as the location of the hotel is in Patan which is away from the noise and business of places such as Thamel yet is still close to landmarks and cultural sites. We could get to any desired place in Kathmandu within 30 minutes and in our opinion the Patan area was better kept in terms of infrastructure and pollution. The staff were very attentive and the rooms and amenities speak for themselves. They have beautiful 360 views of the city and hills/ mountains and the gym and heated spa/ pool area were great!
