The hotel is located fairly centrally in the island of Pingtan in a small village. Its exterior is nicely decorated with lights, and if you arrive late at night like we did, you’ll thank for that, as it shines like a beacon in a otherwise not very well lit street. The service shone from the beginning. One of the staff was ready to help us with our luggage and show us in, and there was no delay with the registration of my passport (something that as any foreigner that has travelled in the Chinese Mainland will be able to tell, is not something to take for granted), and was immediately added to WeChat, where through the entire trip I was kept updated on everything relevant to us as guests, from the time breakfast was ready, to the fact that a guest with a dog was going to stay in a room next to ours (to which they offered to change if we needed in case any of us was scared or allergic to dogs). Breakfast was always kept warm for us, even when we were coming down late and were not expecting it to be there, and in general the staff’s attitude was always what you would expect in a bigger, more established (and more expensive) hotel, but with a home-stay twist. The hotel is not very close to any scenic spot or touristic destination, but they offer a service of e-bike rental that we used through the trip, and that we’d recommend to anybody is staying here as it took transportation off the list of things we had to think about, and allowed us to fully take advantage of the central location of the inn. With 2 people per bike, going very far North, or South to the city (sometimes both in one trip), we never ran too close to empty our batteries. The room was clean, big enough, and as we were staying on the last floor and our door opened to a patio, very well ventilated. The patio also proved to be a nice place to sit and chill or eat, and I was able to make work I had to finish feel less of a sore in the middle of my holidays. The only things I’d add or change to the room experience are a place to hang clothes (there wasn’t any closet or the sort), the toilet paper (they offered tissues but they don’t feel the same when you want to, you know, keep your hands clean), and real towels (they offer disposable towels, but they’re just not the same). In conclusion, not only I would come back but I most certainly will, as I had an amazing trip and this inn played no small part in it. Would 100% recommend if you like less noisy, more home stay-ey atmosphere, and don’t mind to be a few minutes drive from the city.

My wife and I recently spent a few days at the Fuzhou Sanbaobindi Hotel for a much-needed getaway, and it was, without question, the best hotel experience we’ve ever had. Situated in the heart of Fuzhou’s historic Sanfang Qixiang district, the hotel was the perfect base for exploring the cultural treasures of old Fuzhou—all within easy walking distance, including access to the metro. From the moment we stepped in, the experience was exceptional. We were warmly welcomed with traditional tea and snacks, and the check-in process was a breeze—under three minutes! Our room overlooked a beautifully manicured Chinese garden and perfectly balanced traditional design with modern comfort. Every detail in the room was spotless, showing a clear respect for the historical architecture. The true highlight of our stay, however, was the level of care and hospitality provided by the staff, especially our guest services manager, Roy Huang. Roy went above and beyond, offering us night snacks and daily desserts and taking time to share insights into Fuzhou’s rich history and culture. Our conversations with him were a true pleasure—learning about the city’s architecture, the hotel’s own story, and even the local tea culture, which he introduced us to with great care and knowledge. It’s rare to meet someone who makes you feel so genuinely welcome. Roy’s attention to detail and kindness transformed our stay into something extraordinary. We left Fuzhou with a much deeper appreciation for the city, and it was all thanks to the team at the Sanbaobindi Hotel. If you’re looking for an authentic yet refined stay that captures the spirit of traditional Fuzhou, I couldn’t recommend the Sanbaobindi Hotel highly enough. A heartfelt thank you to Roy and the entire staff for making this trip truly unforgettable.

As frequent leisure travellers from Australia, this was our second stay at this hotel during this trip, and we remain exceptionally pleased with our overall experience. Location & Transportation: The hotel's location is exceptionally convenient, offering easy access to a vast selection of excellent dining, from local noodle shops to hot pot and barbecue. A metro station providing affordable access to the city centre and beyond is conveniently located just 800 meters away (and is free for those over 65 regardless of nationality). For guests with mobility concerns, we highly recommend DiDi (online taxi service), which we found to be an equally affordable and highly convenient alternative for city travel. Staff Service: The hotel staff consistently demonstrated outstanding hospitality. The receptionists were exceptionally friendly and efficient, ensuring a seamless check-in and proactively providing airport transfer information before our arrival. This high level of service extended to the pleasant breakfast staff and the cleaning personnel, who offered warm and welcoming greetings each morning. Laundry & Amenities: The availability of complimentary and assisted laundry service was a major advantage. This amenity proved highly convenient and essential during our 16-day trip covering Fuzhou and the surrounding area of Pingtan. Room Quality & Layout: We were very satisfied with the room's upkeep. It was meticulously cleaned, and the bed sheets, towels, and linens (including pillows) were all immaculately maintained—a crucial factor in our selection criteria. Furthermore, the room's layout was highly practical and luggage-friendly, featuring a logical and efficient arrangement of amenities. In conclusion, we are highly satisfied with our selection and would unreservedly return to this hotel on any future visit to the city.

The moment I stepped into this hotel, a good portion of my travel fatigue just melted away. The front desk staff greeted me with warm, polite smiles, and the check-in process was quick and smooth, without any unnecessary delays. I had only mentioned a preference for floral scents, and a small sprig of fresh jasmine was discreetly added next to the welcome tea and snacks.

We had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed every moment here. The hotel was spotlessly clean, and the view was absolutely beautiful, especially looking out toward the beach—it was exactly as shown and completely worth it 🌊✨ The place is very kid-friendly, which made our stay even more comfortable as a family. The service was outstanding—thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely caring. A special highlight was the afternoon tea and evening snacks thoughtfully placed on our door handle. It was such a lovely surprise and really showed how much attention the team puts into small details. We absolutely loved this thoughtful touch 💛 Although the weather wasn’t very favorable during our stay, we still enjoyed relaxing by the window, taking in the sea view, and feeling the calm atmosphere. Even on a cloudy day, the experience was peaceful and enjoyable. Breakfast was another big plus—delicious, satisfying, and generous, leaving us happily full and ready for the day 😄 Overall, this stay exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended for families and anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a beautiful seaside experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent Stay – One of the Best in Fujian This is truly one of the best 4* hotels in Fujian, not just in Fuzhou. This was our third stay, and we continue to be impressed. 🛏 Room Comfort & Cleanliness The room was very spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep. We stayed on the 5th floor, and our room had a balcony overlooking the garden of the breakfast restaurant, which was a lovely view. Despite the central location, the room was very quiet — we could not hear any street noise at all. 🤝 Service The hotel staff were warm, friendly, and helpful. We especially appreciated that they allowed us to store our luggage securely for a week while we traveled to Wuyishan and Xiapu. 🧴 Amenities Toiletries were well supplied and replenished adequately. Overall room facilities meet 4-star standards. 📍 Location & Connectivity The location is excellent and extremely convenient: 1) McDonald’s and Yonghui Supermarket (永辉超市) are right beside the hotel. 2) Directly opposite is the large shopping mall 五四印象, offering numerous dining options (including a Japanese restaurant), optical shops, beauty and hair salons, and many fashion retail stores for both men and women. 3) It is only a 10-minute ride to Fuzhou Railway Station, making it very convenient to travel to other cities in Fujian and even neighboring Zhejiang. 💰 Value for Money The room rates are very reasonable for the comfort, service, and convenience offered. Excellent value overall. 🙏Areas for Improvement 1) The breakfast buffet has a limited selection and could offer more variety. 2) The metal fence on the balcony is rusting and would benefit from repainting or replacement. 🌈Overall A highly recommended 4-star hotel with excellent comfort, service, and strategic location. We will definitely return again.

**Fantastic Stay at Fuzhou Narada Hotel** A wonderful experience! The staff, especially the front desk team, were exceptionally friendly and efficient—every request was resolved perfectly. Rooms are modern, spotlessly clean, and well-equipped. The hot spring facilities are rejuvenating, and the entire hotel radiates tranquility. Highly recommended for a seamless, relaxing stay in Fuzhou!

I extended my stay because of the hotel’s excellent location. A bit of noise from the road traffic but not really noticeable. The room was clean; the housekeeping staff are outstanding - very service oriented. The size of the suite room is ok - not exactly very big but enough space. There’s a small gym in the hotel which is a plus point for me.

The apartment is located inside a modern high rise building (with four elevators) in the middle of what appears to be a middle class neighborhood. The building is within walking distance (I estimate 10-15 minutes tops) of the Fuzhou-South railway station. However. When me and my friend arrived there we decided to take a cab due to heavy rain - and we got yelled at because the driver was unhappy about the destination being so close to the railway station We yelled back and the driver apologized. We later realized that it would have been smarter to order a DiDi as cab drivers have to wait in line long time to get a railway customer and it is understandable that they want a customer who wants to go to the city center. Still. He had no right to yell at us. This is what the minimum fee is for. Anyway. It is one of those high rise buildings that is built around a huge mall. Plenty of shops, drug stores, markets, restaurants (outside the mall) are within 5 minute radius. A mall entrance is within 3 minute walking distance. Very very convenient location. Not only so. Every day after 10:00pm there is a night market down the street where you can buy all sorts of delicious snacks even grilled oysters and steak. Me and my friend had no issue locating the apartment because upon arriving at Fuzhou-South we got in touch with the owner. The owner then befriended me on WeChat, sent us the address, pictures of the entrance, description of how to open the main apartment door and the key lockers. Piece of cake. TBH I initially did not understand how to enter the code into the electronic door lock and so the owner came to assist. She was there within minutes after we asked for help. The apartment is basically a bedroom with huge screen, beamer, queensize bed, workplace with sink, water cooker, washing machine, dining table and a nice, big fridge. Naturally you also have your own bathroom with sink, toilet and shower. Everything was very clean and me and my friend were super happy with our choice. I initially thought that the mattress was too firm but then I slept very well on it. You have to take a cab or DiDi to the city center but its not far so it is not expensive. The A/C works very well. The view from the 18th floor is amazing. Would I stay there again? Given the good location, hygiene and price I would absolutely stay there again.
