Nice area but bad experience as hotel double charged room fees to my card without any notice, had to explain and ask for refund after check out

Amazing staff.
Breakfast is underwhelming no need to add to stay, rooms are tight as to be expected in Paris. Interesting physical key system.Great location 2 minutes from cafe de flore and deux maggots as well as many bistros and sights.

I was so pleased with my room at the Hotel Verneuil. The hotel is so centrally located - I was able to walk to every museum and venue I wanted to go to. The attention to detail at the hotel (ambience, etc) was so well thought out. The delightful staff is what made my stay perfect. They were so accommodating and their attention to detail on all the little things that make a stay perfect was evident at every turn. I'll definitely be back!

My wife and I are so glad we chose the Hotel Verenuil for our trip to Paris. The location is convenient, the rooms are small, but comfortable, and the service was friendly and attentive to detail. Oh, and we're so glad we decided to purchase the breakfast, which was delicious. We'll be back!

The hotel was beautiful and exactly what we wanted for central Paris. It was near three metro stops so getting around was convenient and in a great neighborhood. Walkable to many sites we wanted to go to, and easy for commuting. The staff was friendly and helpful.
When we went to check in, the room wasn’t ready and they told us to wait in the parlor. An hour later, it seems that they had forgotten about us and the room had actually been ready for 45 minutes. It was during the week of Christmas and New Years, so they were likely overwhelmed and there was a change of staff, but for a 4 star hotel I expected better handoff and communication.
The room was small (as expected), which wasn’t a problem. The shower didn’t drain well and flooded the bathroom floor every time we showered. Rooms could be updated - it was all carpet.

Great location, kind staff, not the best layout, having to go up a flight of stairs to reach tiny elevator. Bed was very cozy, bath a bit small but overall very nice.

Pros - Location. Staff @ breakfast
Cons - Room is in need of a refresh. Bathroom is dark. Not conducive for business travel - no desk space at all. No storage to speak of, so most clothing stayed in the suitcase. Had to request a luggage rack and extra hangers.
