Everything was absolutely fine at the beginning
People are really nice, location was convenient, room was clean.
Except at the last day people trying to come in and check inventory of coffee and tea when i was still in the room and not checked out yet.
AND there were no hot water on that morning so i had to take a shower with cold water in a winter day. This was just not acceptable and when I complain about this they simply just told me it was happening in all rooms, and that was the worst answer.

Apart from the location, there's not much I would recommend about the hotel. Extremely old rooms and was not very clean. Housekeeping is definitely not thorough and there was a used hair tie left in the toilet. Sheets did not feel very clean either. This was a last minute booking, so the price definitely did not match up to the quality - which is nowhere close to 4 stars.

Stayed here last April and decided to book here again for my January trip. Mistake. There was a plumbing problem in my room. They told me to wait up for a plumber who finally arrived around 6:00. Couldn't fix problem. They did provide a different room and said they would call me when it was ready. They never did. I kept going to the desk to ask when the room was ready. I would have appreciated a simple apology for what happened. Nothing.
I also asked if there was an ATM nearby. No answer.
For my next trip to Paris, I will stay elsewhere.

We were given a lower quality room than we booked. The room was changed. We specifically booked a suite so that we could use its kitchen facility. However, it was difficult to get housekeeping to give us any kitchen utensils or dishes. We were told that it was hotel policy to only provide wooden spoons! What is the point of paying more for a suite !! The communication between hotel staff and us was poor and on times totally unacceptable.
We only had 1 chair in the room for two of us . The service and quality below what’s expected in a 4 star hotel. Could not stay again or recommend it!!

Very pleasant, helpful staff (being bi-lingual, I didn't check their English speaking abilities...), good service. The configuration of the hotel with small buildings around an open "passage" in a quiet street makes the rooms very quiet, in their own little universe. The proximity of three central metro lines makes it very easy to get anywhere. We stayed 10 days, and were very pleased with our choice.

It was my first time in Paris, and I was curious to know the people and their culture. Les Jardins du Marais gave me comfort, The staff's were great and welcoming. What I don't like is that breakfast is not included.

This is a very poorly run hotel with poorly trained, and inhospitable, staff. It's in a good location but our room was horribly overheated, poorly lit, and uncomfortable. It is overpriced. They claim to be 4 star but are at best a 2 star. It was our worst stay ever in Paris and in France out of dozens of trips. w Don't ruin a trip to Paris by staying here. You can find FAR better accomodations in the city.
