Hotel le 18 Paris

The hotel is currently facing challenges with bed bug infestations, and there appears to be a lack of adequate response from the staff. Upon my arrival, I encountered bed bugs in my room, prompting me to request an immediate checkout and compensation. Unfortunately, my request was not accommodated..

Fabulous little hotel. Receptionist ‘Lisa’ was most helpful and went over and above, a wonderful asset to this hotel. Breakfast was 15€ and worth every cent, continental and tasty. Hotel on the whole was immaculate. 2 mins from metro, lovely little bakeries, fast food, shops, supermarkets and restaurants right on doorstep. Ideal for a short break away.

Clean rooms and comfy bed and pillows. Guy who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. Lift not big enough for family. Pram does not fit in the lift so had to fold it every time which is annoying if your baby is asleep and you’ve to disturb them after a long day. Dodgy looking characters outside the hotel and ******* in and out of the lift also as one receptionist was on their phone to a friend and wasn’t paying attention. Cot had no mattress. Maid kindly put down sheets without being asked. Heating would only turn on sometimes. No English language channels on TV. Location is great right beside Lidl, Intermarche, McDonalds, KFC, and Metro. Receptionist on 2nd day was really rude. As soon as we got downstairs she quizzed us quite aggressively about having our child on our booking. Then when she realised that she was on our booking she was as nice as pie, very fake and clearly wanted to get more money out of us.

The hotel was adequate for our 3 night stay family stay. Whilst the room was small, it was spotless. Metro station 2 mins walk away, supermarkets too. Although in a deprived looking area, with lots of males hanging around at night. Wonderful view of Sacre Cour from our window. Staff helpful. The breakfast room was being decorated so we had to order it to be delivered to our room. Consisted of usual continental items. Not sure I'd stay here again.....

A nice and clean hotel in Paris, the room was funcional and nice, the only sad stuff are the surroundings, which are typical of the north of Paris. The staff was helpful, and I enjoyed the full stay in that hotel.

Great location close to Montmartre, which we loved. Also very close to the metro, which can take you to the city center in around 15 minutes. Friendly staff and no complaints about cleanliness.

We are so pleased we found this hotel as it was the perfect base for our first trip to Paris. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by the most friendly staff ever! Very helpful and didn't mind our attempt at french was terrible. Our room was not big but it was warm and inviting. Completely spotless with the most amazing fluffy towels ever! And they were a great size. The shower again though compact was so powerful and great temperature. Some Toiletries added a nice personal touch. We slept so well with no noise disturbance on each of the 3 nights we stayed. Comfy bed too which I was pleased about because we walked a lot in Paris and fell right into bed each night. The lift was small but there are stairs for anyone who has a real issue with it. The ares outside the hotel is bustling with so many shops and restaurants each side. And I agree with a fellow reviewer the people we encountered outside our hotel and surrounding area were the most friendly people compared to that of people in the most touristy spots of Paris. Metro is literally 2 mins walk away but we mainly walked because we felt we really had the real experience of Paris. Definitely make use of the little bakerys for the amazing , bread , croissants and crepes. Would happily return to this hotel as it has so much to offer and is a good price for its location.

Would not recommend this hotel to anybody!!! The road it is on is rough & there's people everywhere staring at you making you feel uncomfortable. When we arrived the room we was given was not big enough to even swing a cat around in. My partner didn't fit in the bed as it was a tiny double. We got charged nearly £800 for 4 nights through TUI which is robbery! Extremely disappointed as it was for my partners 30th birthday. We nearly swapped hotels because we didn't feel safe. Our safe didn't work in the room, and neither did the phone to call reception. I complained the next day & they moved us into a room which was a tiny bit bigger but the view was shocking, we looked out the window & it was a wall. I would not stay here and would not recommend it to anyone. The lift to get upstairs was about 70cm wide and about 6ft tall so you can just about squeeze in with a suitcase. The rooms look nothing like the pictures online.
