Hotel Saint-Louis Marais

Great little hotel in a wonderful area of Paris. The room was a nice size with a huge bathroom. We were a triple room. Staff was welcoming and very friendly. Many restaurants close by, about a block away from the Seine. Would happily return again!

A very conveniently located hotel in a quiet area near the river and about 2 mins walk from the metro, 10 mins from Notre Dame, and 20 mins from the Louvre. Very friendly and professional staff. The room we had was spacious, with large windows that opened wide onto the street and let in plenty of fresh air, but we didn't have a view as such. The room had flagstone flooring, a comfortable bed and plenty of storage. The bathroom was large also, and had a huge shower that was excellent. Breakfast in the morning was in the basement breakfast room which had great stone walls, was bright, airy, and with only 4 tables, not busy or overcrowded. The continental breakfast was fantastic.

4.4 Arrived to the hotel to find out they had accidentally checked someone into our room. They had used the shower and provided us with extra towels. We did not make any arguments because it was a mistake and we had 2 young children that needed to rest. What they failed to tell us that there was a pigeon nest with in the rooftop. One of the baby pigeons was out of the nest and making a loud slapping noise with its wings against the top of our ceiling. We had terrible sleep being woken every few hours. Made the front desk aware and they said they are fixing the problem. Second night was worse. Let the desk know that it was terrible and shared a video of this loud noise because they were thinking it was just bird noise. Again they only accommodated free breakfast which was told to us when they checked someone into our room. No other accommodations were made for us to satisfy the sleepless nights we experienced there. It was a very disappointing stay.

We spent two nights here, and while we chose a tiny room, the bed was very comfortable as were the pillows (often you get one or the other, not always both), and if we didn't have so much luggage we'd had enough room to move around. The bathroom and shower were excellent, with the latter luxurious in a way we've not had in places more expensive, and certainly newer and with chains. The quality of the room/bathroom was well above average, and the English-speaking front desk people were helpful, very friendly, and made us feel comfortable from the moment we entered. Access to town was exceptional as well, and we checked in and walked back out almost immediately to begin exploring. Hope we're back in Paris in the not too distant future, and we'll stay here again. Sidenote: Continental breakfast was local baked goods, cereals, yogurts, juices and very good coffee. And even though we took their shuttle (also excellent, smoothest path to an airport we've taken in years) way before breakfast, the concierge made sure we had coffee and rolls ready for our 5:15 departure.

Amazing location with very attentive staff. Perfect for visiting Le Marais or the whole city. We were there for seven nights and it never got old. With easy access to three different Metro stops, and walkable the other parts of the city, we would gladly stay there again!

Stayed here because of recommendation in Rick Steves book and it is perfect. Helpful staff available 24-7. Comfy beds. My favorite shower EVER. Cozy breakfast. Very luxe airport shuttle at a very reasonable price with our package. Location is perfect for exploring Paris. Elevator nice when you’re tired of schlepping your luggage. This will be where I stay if I’m lucky enough to return to Paris.

Our flight was canceled and we found ourselves in Paris an extra night without anywhere to stay. We made this last minute reservation and were unsure of what to expect. The place turned out to be better than where we had originally stayed. The hotel was very conveniently located, the area was safe, and the 24 hour reception was a plus. Room was a good size for our family of four. The airport transport option was also a huge help as we had trouble at times finding a taxi/Uber. Can’t recommend this place enough.
