We were a family of 4 so we booked 2 rooms (for 5 nights). We were on separate floors as we booked the largest room type and there was only one on each floor. The location and breakfast were great, the rooms (even “the nicest we have”) were not photo worthy but all we needed was somewhere CLEAN and SAFE at the end of long sightseeing days. On the second night my daughter got two bug bites on her right thigh - I didn’t think much of it. On the third night she woke up from itch from new but similar bites on her right torso right arm, and I woke up with two bites on my left side - the side adjacent to my daughter as we slept. After two nights of bites we (on Day 4) told front desk who immediately sent two “manager level” personnel up to the room and they flipped the mattresses to check - we were out (to the Eiffel Tower!) so it’s not like we would sit around waiting for their conclusion. We got back to the hotel near midnight and inquired with the night front desk staff (who was very nice) who said, he had not received any notes about this and regrettably he was unable to switch us to another room (not even a smaller room cheaper than the one we paid for). My daughter and I were too scared (of bedbugs) to go back into our room, so we crammed into DH and DS’s bed …. sleeping stiffly on two twin beds put together (preferring neck better to more bug bites…) The next morning we were about to check out, waited for the manager, and told him as the night staff was not updated, we were unable to use the room that night - we didn’t even dare get close to the bed. As a fair compromise we requested a partial refund of that one room for that one night we could not (and had not) used - I showed him our bug bites - we weren’t even asking for compensation, just the room we did not use (one night out of 10). He stood extremely firm and was adamant in denying the bites had anything to do with their hotel. The hotel staff first said oh maybe you guys opened the window and let mosquitos in, and when we said we had not touched the windows our whole stay, they then said oh maybe the cleaning staff opened the windows. After the manager showed up, he said the bites needed to be confirmed by a doctor that they were bug bites. I informed him, i am, in fact, a physician myself, so is DH. And my medical practice is full of world travellers. He promptly pivoted and say, ah you need to consult a DERMATOLOGIST. (As in, a family doctor who diagnoses melanoma regularly cannot diagnose bug bites. Medically speaking, there are actually no definitive pathonomonic morphology that diagnose bed bug bites; it can have different appearance on different individuals. , Rather, it is the **distribution** of the lesions that matter - and between my daughter and I, we have textbook distribution and exposure history. But I digress.) He insists that whatever insects that gave the two of us who were in room 311 a total of no fewer than 10 bites - see photo - (but not the ot

This was by far one of the best hotels we have stayed in while traveling Europe. The location is perfect for walking and very close to all of the tourists sites. We were met with a very warm and kind greeting from Olga at the front desk, she made sure we were accommodated with our special requests and anything else we may have needed; in addition to Olga there was Amando; he assisted us in making all of our site reservations including theater tickets; his patience was outstanding with us as we knew very little; the entire staff was very impressive and friendly and I know that this is the hotel I will stay at every time i visit Paris

We recently stayed at the Maison Albar Champs Elysees as a family of four. The hotel exceeded our expectations. Even before arrival, the hotel was prompt responding to my emails and answering my questions. The junior suite was very spacious, with plenty of room for two adults and two kids (teen and tween). Our room had a wonderful view of the Arc, and the decor offered the French charm we were looking for on our first trip to Paris. Everything was very clean and in good order. The location is great. You can walk to many of the tourist sights, shops and restaurants, and can easily take the metro, Uber or a taxi. We opted not to have the hotel breakfast and found many great options nearby to enjoy a croissant and a cup of coffee at very reasonable prices. Overall, this was a great choice for our stay and I m glad I chose this hotel for our family vacation.

Positives - Excellent location for touristy stuff. Underground tube is also right outside. And local corner shop for foods/drinks just outside. Overall hotel room was clean. Fridge and air con worked. Staff are nice. Negatives - Triple room is basically just a double room with an extra folding bed put in. So this made very little room space. We didn’t get view of Arc De Triomphe (despite requesting in booking). Instead our room faced inside alley. I believe only 3 rooms out of 8 rooms got view of Arc De Triomphe (on our floor). Air con did work, but started leaking water into bathroom on second and third night. Bathroom door did not close properly. And shower in bath tub is really awkward to use (especially if you tall). Awkward because of its location on wall and little space. Overall, maybe ok for single visitors and couples. But I not sure for family with small kids given little space and problems with bathroom/air con. That’s why I gave low rating

First off, let me say that we did not stay at this hotel. We did, however, stop in at the outdoor cafe for a cold drink. They were very busy, so we ultimately continued down the street. But we left our backpack under the table. When we returned (in a panic), it was still under the table, but as I was laser-focused on retrieving it, I tripped on the step and fell, injuring my knee. The staff was right there to help me up, and the manager came out right away to make sure I was okay, offering ice packs and cold drinks. They were so kind. Thank you!
