Hôtel le Prieuré

Very well located, right at the heart of Paray le Monial's spiritual center ( parc des chapelins, parc du moulin hiéron, beautiful basilica and the famous chapelle des apparitions). There is plenty of free parking around the hotel. The hotel itself was fully renovated and refurbished a short while ago. So extremely clean, neat and tidy with a beautiful terrace along the Bourbince river. So why the average rating? Firstly, the restaurant is way below what one would expect in a nice french boutique hotel. The Menu of available dishes contains only three main courses, and we tried each one of them with equal disappointment. Appetizers and desserts are of the same league: low quality, with many supermarket cafeterias faring better! Secondly, rooms are on the tiny side on only superior suites will offer a TV, which, given Paray le Monial's not so vibrant nightlife, would defintely be a plus. Lastly, room rates are much too high.

Yes, this is one of the best hotels I have been to. The decoration is so comfortable for the eye and the soul. You feel at peace when you enter this hotel. The receptionists are so welcoming with their smiles and greetings. They were always helpful and made us feel at home. I was really impressed by the elegant decoration, by the cleanliness, the nice smell in the corridors and inside the room. The light pastel colours in the room perfect the whole experience of peace, serenity and comfort. We stayed at a suit, which was spacious with a good view. We enjoyed calm nights staying at this room. We have also tried the bar with a several assortment of good wines. The chef had offered us something of his creation to eat along with our drinks, as a courtesy. It was so delicious! The hotel also has a chapel where you could sit there in silence, pray, meditate and just have some calm time. The rooms have bibles, something I do not see in hotel rooms anymore. I was really impressed. This is definitely a recommendation when you are visiting Paray Le Monial or the region.

Lovely property, friendly staff, walking distance to sites, varied selection of delicious breakfast items. Highly recommend this hotel.

Un bel hotel à la déco sobre et raffinée. Le restaurant est excellent . Chambre petite mais confortable avec une literie top . Un peu surprenant de dormir en face de la photo de jean paul || . Catholique pratiquante , la déco avec les objets religieux m’a amusée mais mon amie laïque beaucoup moins … le personnel est adorable

Cet établissement idéalement situé à Paray le Monial est vraiment ”Top ” que ce soit pour la partie hébergement que pour la restauration. Le cadre d une manière générale est très plaisant et la gentillesse du personnel rayonne partout dans l hotel. Tous ces éléments nous ont permis de passer un excellent séjour. Je remercie tout le personnel bien entendu, mais j’ajoute une mention spéciale à Charlotte qui a géré d une manière globale , le séjour de tout le groupe .

Le Cadre est exceptionnel. Les chambres et la literie sont très confortables. La déco est très raffinée et très adaptée à l'environnement religieux. Enfin, le personnel et le service sont irréprochables. Le restaurant est tout à fait correct.

Très belle chambre au décor moderne et reposant, avec literie très confortable. Pas de télévision dans la chambre, mais des livres et revues pour nourrir l’esprit. Agréable dîner au restaurant, avec service rapide et très accueillant. Petit déjeuner complet, avec quelques produits régionaux. Service un peu chaotique ce matin là à cause de la présence d’un grand groupe (buffet vidé trop rapidement).
