Elsey on Parap

Fantastic communication leading up to the booking. We flew in after hours and late check in was easily confirmed, with very clear access instructions. Apartment complex well located. Apartment was immaculate, very spacious and well equipped. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Really great, modern, clean, spacious, private apartments and apartment complex, awesome pool area too. Staff are always very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The location is ideal, being right across the road from Parap village. Have stayed many times!

Very clean, comfortable and well presented apartment. It was a relaxing retreat after sightseeing, close to many attractions. The secure parking and late check in made it easy to access. I would happily return next time we are near Darwin.

Very quiet location in Parap. We booked a 1 bedroom studio. Very spacious and clean. Foxtel available, therefore didn’t miss the footy. Nice big comfortable king size bed. Good kitchen with good quality appliances. Balcony had a BBQ/kettle on it for those meals outside. Nice looking pool area.

Fantastic accomodation, close to the city and East Point. Super clean and modern furnishings. Would stay there again. Highly recommended to travellers. Very safe and secure location and shopping centre across the road with a bit of everything. Rita Z

We enjoyed our stay at these apartments. We had a two bedroom apartment which was large. Our balcony overlooked the pool. The apartment had everything we needed. The pool was clean and a good temperature. It was an easy walk to the Darwin Trailer Boat Club. There was a nice Mexican Restaurant - Prickles in the village opposite.

10 out of 10! Everything about Elsey on Parap was well thought out from undercover and secure parking to the full kitchen, the balcony and the included facilities. Generous rooms with comfort and convenience galore. Comfy bed in master also. We really appreciated the ensuite bathroom as well as a separate bathroom with washing machine and dryer. Will definitely return to Elsey on Parap when next in Darwin.

Location was excellent and had everything you needed. Would suggest avoiding Room 7 as the air conditioner shuts off at the middle of the night - hope this gets fixed because otherwise room is very hot. The reason that this is given 1-star is due to how the manager, Michelle Graham, handled our feedback when we checked out. If we did not have any dealings with her, would have given this place a 5-star. Further details below if anyone wants to continue reading. We provided feedback to her in relation to our disappointing experience upon finding a dirty rag on our pillowcase when we checked in, and our air con stopped working in the middle of the night for our last two nights in a row. Unfortunately, she was defensive, unprofessional and responded with sarcastic comments. She gaslighted us by saying things like, ‘have you never had mistakes happen before?’ ‘What would you like me to to, it happened at the middle of the night’ ‘we already changed your pillowcases what more do you want’ ‘if you had told me, I would have gotten it fixed. I had no control with the air con breaking’. These comments likened to those of a petulant child, not an experienced manager in a customer facing role. I honestly think that Michelle just had a bad day that morning since she looks experienced, but still unacceptable given that it is her job to deal with both positive and negative feedback.
