Trenython Manor ★★★★

"We arrived at the hotel and was asked if we had a dog. We said no, we did not pay for a dog either. We were then shown to a basement garden room in the hotel, which we discovered these rooms are for people with dogs. We had a key to the back door of the room, which opened up to a patio and gardens. The room had two large stains on the carpet and the stairwell to the room smelt of dogs. We also asked for a twin bedded room and got a king size double. We then waited for the bed to be altered into a twin but a single duvet could not be found in the whole hotel, so we spent 5 nights in a single bed with a king size duvet. Breakfast was average. Altogether a disappointing experience and welcome, from a name I would have expected more from."
