I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mandarina Colombo, and overall, it was a positive experience. The hotel's location is convenient, situated in the heart of Colombo, making it easy to explore the city's attractions.
The rooms were clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of sightseeing. The staff was friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests. The hotel amenities, including the on-site restaurant and fitness centre, added to the overall convenience of my stay.
One highlight was the impressive view from my room, overlooking the cityscape. It added a pleasant touch to the overall ambience of the hotel. While the decor might not be the most modern, it exuded a classic charm that complemented the overall atmosphere.
The complimentary breakfast offered a good variety of options, catering to different tastes. The culinary offerings were satisfying, providing a decent start to the day.
However, it's worth noting that some areas of the hotel might benefit from a bit of updating, as certain furnishings showed signs of wear. Additionally, the Wi-Fi connection could be inconsistent at times.
In conclusion, Mandarina Colombo offers a comfortable and convenient stay with friendly staff and decent amenities. It may not be the most luxurious option in Colombo, but it provides good value for those looking for well-located and welcoming accommodation.

Granbell colombo is the most beautiful city hotel in colombo , It offer really japanese hospitality experience , foods are really tasty , Hotel has most beautiful infinity pool at roof top. That experience is very attractive . Roof top bar is little bit crowded in weekend . But bar staff provide quick service. Also Room has consist with modern features . And Room has bath tab . It is really nice. Overall experience is really worth for money.staff was very friendly. We recently stayed at this hotel where we choose to celebrate our anniversary, it was the perfect place for us as all health & safety measures were of high standards. The room was spacious well cleaned and sanitized .Our whole stay was relaxing enjoyable and for sure we will be staying here on our next visit as we enjoyed the atmosphere very much. We would like to specially mention about” Shiva” at the front desk who dealt with our booking to the point of checking he is very knowledgeable, friendly and had great customer service. Although the departure was a bit unsatisfying , as when I requested for a late checkout until 1pm I , was informed by the front desk (lady) that I have to pay half the room rate just for an additional half hour as she offered me the departure time until 12.30pm which sounds a bit crazy as the arrival time says 2pm LCO could be charged if the client exceeds this timings . Would appreciate if the management could consider the above request as it could be managed case by case. Overall we were so happy with the service , staff and the hotel.

Overall, it's okay. The price is relatively cheap in the capital. I thought it wouldn't be a good stay at this price. The overall feeling is okay, but the disposable items are a bit rough. Fortunately, I brought them all. The bathroom is a bit dim and hot. There is still plenty of water. There is an infinity swimming pool on the roof to enjoy the night view🌃. There is a sports ground nearby, which is very lively. There is a big fruit stall on the corner of the main road at the door, which is very interesting! Don't go

We visited C1 Fort hotel Colombo end March 2023, as a couple. The hotel is located in the center of Colombo, close to the Fort train station and World Trade Center. The location serves as an excellent starting point for exploration of Sri Lanka's biggest city. Modern and tidy reception floor and kind and smiling staff make sure that your needs are attended to quickly. We needed an early check-in and it was no problem to arrange it. The room was very big and featured good AC system. Prices are fair and affordable. Guests (especially smokers) will love this place because it features very big covered rooftop terrace, outfitted with ventilators. Morning cofee or a nightcap with a view to the city you will not forget. Right next to the hotel there is a bar where you can bring your drinks from, and just around the corner there is big souvenir shop (Laksala – State owned gift and souvenir shop) with low prices. If you are starting your Sri Lanka tour from here it may be advisable to buy some souvenirs here, because the same items will be considerably more expensive if you buy them elsewhere around the country. Currency exchange point is conveniently located 20m from the hotel entrance, tuk tuk ride as well. The Fort district with restaurants is 5 min walk from the hotel. When we come back to Colombo, we will certainly come back to stay at this place, there is no better recommendation.

Before the end of the holiday, we still planned to stay in Colombo for one day before leaving, so we still booked this hotel and checked in at ten in the morning. Since the guests had just checked out, we needed to wait for cleaning, so we sat on the side while the staff sent us there. The juice was served, just when the mouth was dry, the juice was like a timely rain. After a while, a manager said that cleaning would take some time and invited us to have a buffet breakfast. We politely declined, after all, it was a bit expensive, and then we went to the mall downstairs to eat. We bought something and just came back. The manager asked us if he could buy us a cup of coffee. We happily accepted it and were very touched at the same time because the wait was caused by our own early check-in, but the hotel tried to save us from the long wait. It's not pleasant to do so much, thank you very much

Initial experience wasn’t great at check-in, as the staff wasn’t giving accurate information about dinner prices, and wasn’t very friendly. There were also a few issues in the room. But the front desk was able to coordinate with their internal house keeping and engineering team to solve the problems. We were happy with their services in the end.
