The room was ok, but the owner was totally different. He was rude, said he speaks English but did not understand the request for an airport transfer made via call, and is totally unresponsive to emails for the same request. I fully paid Agoda for the stay (which I found out sold me the room via *******), and in spite of the receipt shown the Owner demanded full cash payment. It was a very humiliating experience where he was degrading and very rude. In spite of the live chat with Agoda customer service, he said, "I don't care what Agoda says, this is your problem. You cancelled your booking.", an accusation I have proven him to be false many times. I got an email later on from Agoda and ******* telling me the owner declined my booking request because he said it was 'fully booked'. So in the end, it was the owner's mistake, but I ended up being humiliated by it. He should have taken it on himself to process this with Agoda/Expedia and not shout at his customer. But no, he was very rude. So right now a refund is being processed by Agoda. Was it expensive? Not at all. But whatever price points we're paying, no one deserves to be humiliated that way. The worst experience ever.
