This is a quaint hotel on a narrow street within walking distance to shops, restaurants, attractions, and the waterfront. The very helpful front desk staff aimed to please at every turn. They helped us with taxi service (a few times), dinner reservations, beach towels, spa usage, and keeping our coffee stocked. The spa was small, yet relaxing. The whirlpool had room for 2-3 people and you had to continually push the button to activate the jets. The sauna and Turkish bath were amazing and the heated lounge chairs-sooo relaxing! Everything was clean and well stocked in the spa. We spent a lot of time on the rooftop deck to soak in the views of the convent, the cathedral, and the bay. It was the best spot for a nightcap or an early morning espresso. The room itself looked just like the room in the TripAdvisor ad. The A/C was cold. We froze under the sheets and had to use the bathrobes to keep warm. The bathroom had glass walls and a glass door which allowed for very little privacy. We travelled with family who had a different room and a door on their bathroom. If a solid bathroom door is something you require, you may want to request it. Also, the shower water soaked out bathroom floor no matter what we did to try to prevent it. The breakfast buffet was filled with fresh offerings each day. We tried something new each day but always had a cappuccino with it. I would recommend this hotel!
