What we thought was going to be a hotel room turned out to be a small apar**ent. Great surprise. Even better, it’s right across the street from a nice beach.

The view from our room was amazing and the pool area was fantastic. However, the whole resort needs some TLC - quite a few areas needed painting or high pressuring. The room fit out seemed quite dated too and in need of modernising. It didn't seem like a 5 star property, though maybe was when it was first built. Overall done good bones but needs inves**ent to bring it back up to scratch.

Lovely views from each unit and location was great with shops restaurants etc all walkable.
The pool area was a bit tired, with not enough lounge chairs but the pool itself was lovely.

We had a nice stay however the hotel is a bit tired and dated - not a 5 star by any means. Staff were pleasant and the breakfast was good. Location is good but it's about a 10 min walk to the main bars and restaurants in paihia.

Great service from the inside staff - friendly and helpful. Room cleanliness etc is great.
But it's been a long time since the 'resort' looked as good as it does in the photos - which is what we bought.
The owners need to spend money - the facilities are tired.

Unit clean and tidy they advertised restaurant but on arrival was informed restaurant shut for lunch and dinner but open for breakfast other than that all good
