Family House @ Pai

The staff was nice and the place around looked beautiful, but even though we arrived at 4:00 PM we waited for the room for half an hour and when we entered the cabin we saw that in the bathroom there was a gap between the ceiling (which is made of plastic, I think) and the wall and from there two lizards and a lot of ants entered the bathroom (the ants also entered the bedroom). The door of the bathroom doesn't close all the way, so the lizards and mosquitoes can enter the adjacent bedroom. The staff told us to wait until tomorrow to change rooms because everything was full (a small resort). We decided that we didn't want to stay and that we wanted the money back, no matter how much we talked and explained they wanted to charge us for the night we arrived even though we didn't sleep, we wasted time and money trying to get Booking and book a new hotel for that night. After an argument and even though the hotel refused to return the money, Booking refunded us all the money and the resott received payment for the night from Booking. We intentionally paid a relatively high price for Pai, in order to get a quality and unfortunately that's not what happened.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is very well situated in a quiet spot on the river but very close to all the amenities of Pai. It is very well run, exceptionally clean and the breakfasts were really delicious. Our room was spacious and well equipped, and it had a veranda overlooking the lovely pool. The owner and all the staff were kind, helpful and friendly . Thank you for a lovely stay.

Fantastic location great rooms and friendly helpful staff, We paid for an extra night last minute as I hurt my back and didn’t feel I would be able to ride my bike and when we didn’t need it, they did not hesitate to refund, a laundry service would have been a bonus but not a big deal as lots in the area, I would definitely stay here again

We enjoyed 2 nights at this lovely spot in Pai. The breakfast is the best I’ve ever had, anywhere, and the guy serving us was very sweet. It’s in a great location, on the river and near the night market. I must mention that we only had Luke warm water to shower and there is no fridge or safe. The beds are soft, which was very welcome.

Nicely located by the river & right behind the main walking street in Pai. Pleasant and friendly staff at reception, lovely breakfasts and nice surroundings. Our cottage was pretty spacious and clean, good air con and wi-if. Little terrace with chairs & table outside was great as well. Basically everything you need and more, nothing to fault at all. Good value for your money, that’s for sure. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again in the future. Recommended!

I didn't do a reservation before I got to this place. The lady at the reception was very friendly and I was able to have a look at the cottage before booking. The room is not large but good for 1-2 guests. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was spacious and functional (including the hot water system). Great location as you are walking distance away from town centre. It is a good place to have a relaxing time but not far from the town. Garden area and pool is well maintained. They also have a café/restaurant where you can sit overlooking the river. I had only some drinks (juices) and they were good, but they offer food and other drinks as well.

Great hotel, very clean and big rooms. For families you can take 2 rooms with connected door. Perfect breakfast with many options also for children. The owner is very nice and helpfully. Highly recommended for families or couples. We really enjoy it

Great location if you are looking for good food away from the busy and noisy Pai main road. As it is located on the river bank make sure you put on mosquito repellent . Food was great and served fast. The tom yam was particularly good. Credit cards accepted above 1000 bahts
