We stayed at the Lighthouse from February 17th to February 24th. It was our first time at the Lighthouse and we absolutely loved it. We had a rental car and on arrival were greeted warmly in the driveway with a clear message, that guests are forbidden to carry luggage themselves. We immediately received a welcome drink on the terrace, followed by an excellent breakfast and felt at home right from the start. Our room was wonderful with a beautiful view to the sweeping mountains opposite. The service is unique, always friendly, always present and courteous, all wishes are tried to be fulfilled. For us, this was the best service we have ever experienced and we got around a lot. Breakfast on the terrace, no buffet breakfast, but breakfast with service and fresh fruits, freshly prepared egg dishes with the best bacon in the world, and everything else that belongs to a good breakfast. The garden area wonderfully maintained with the beautiful pool is perfect for relaxing. Wine, water and nuts are served by the pool. The whole property with the house is so tastefully furnished and coherent, the owners have invested a lot of time, work and heart and soul in it, it is beautiful to fall in love with. It is located in a quiet, very good residential area in Paarl. To sum up, we stayed in paradise for a week and we will definitely be back. Thanks to the entire Lighthouse team. There are certainly cheaper accommodations, but the Lighthouse is something special.

This is thee most EXQUISITE, yet TRENDY English Manson in Africa - everything about this guesthouse is UNIQUE - nothing is ordinary - guests are welcomed at their car and true butlar exposure is at the order of the day - staff here are all trained to serve royalty, yet in a manner that makes one feel EXTREMELY SPECIAL - the rooms are BREATHTAKING - the furniture peaces are all careflully sellected and great enthusiasm went into the positioning of each item - the breakfast is SIMPLY THE BEST - management team: Darrol and Hendrik are no ordinary guys, but 7* quality - Mika, our personal host was just great - his knowledge of the area and its offering impressed - this is a must visit for no less than 3 nights.
