Hotel le Phare

Pour ce séjour de 3 nuits, Nous avons été bien accueilli par le patron et très bien servi au restaurant ; néanmoins, la chambre que nous avons eue était relativement petite, pas très bien entretenue (photos) la literie excessivement dure, oreillers sans tenue, le similicuir du siège était déchiré, le WC n'avait plus de couvercle, nous sommes restés sans chauffage pendant 2 jours, la chambre étant contiguë à l'escalier, on entend très fortement les personnes monter ou descendre et cela est donc dérangeant la nuit . Le petit déjeuner à 6,50€ ne comprend qu'un croissant et un bout de baguette avec soit beurre ou confiture ainsi qu'une compote et une seule tasse ou de café ou chocolat chaud pas autres choses Enfin, ce matin, 30 septembre 2022 nous avons été accueillis le matin pour le petit déjeuner par une dame aux cheveux court d'une manière très très peu agréable. Nos voisins de table ont a un moment demandé s'il y avait un peu de fromage ou jambon ;elle leur a répondu très sèchement !! Nous sommes profondément désolé mais nous ne viendrons plus en votre établissement. Bertrand Vienne

A friendly little hotel one minute from the ferry. We got in late and they were kind and helpful. We left too early to have breakfast!

W Excellent location for a one night stay before catching the ferry. Restaurant available. Reception friendly and efficient. Room adequate for short stay, very clean and one of the first we’ve stayed in for a while where everything worked !

As always, staff extremely professional and helpful, room clean and comfortable, food great quality at a very good price.

A good value for money basic accommodation. Room decor was dated but clean and comfortable enough. A perfect stay overnight before our early ferry next day. We also had dinner there which was very nice.

Clean room, and comfortable bed. Water so soft it was virtually impossible to rinse off. No left-luggage room, which made sightseeing very inconvenient.

The hotel and restaurant is only about 300m from the ferry terminal. It has a very good restaurant that has a wide range of options. The rooms are adequate but very dated and in need of some work. The staff are very helpful and friendly and there is plenty of parking either directly outside or just across the road.

We stayed at this hotel for one night prior to our early ferry home the following morning and I’m guessing this was the case for most if not all the other guests. The hotel is located literally straight across from the ferry terminal and would take minutes to get to check in. We used the car park opposite Hotel Du Phare and it cost less than €3 for overnight parking.The staff were friendly and helpful on checking in and the rooms were basis but adequate for what we needed. We had drinks in the hotel bar in the outside seating area and after a short walk around town decided to eat back at the hotel restaurant and again the staff and food were/was very good.
