Imagine our exhaustion after a rough and bumpy 20-minute drive from the main road, only to arrive at our booked hotel late at night and be told it's full and our reservation “could not be found", although we definitely have paid in full amount at least two weeks ahead of time. Frustration is barely enough to describe the whole predicament. The indifferent staff blamed the owner, who managed the place remotely with apparent apathy. Promises of a quick solution dissolved into thin air, forcing us to scramble and struggled to find another accommodation to spend the night. We are in contact with the website we booked the hotel through and so far have not received a refund after 6 days. Apparently, this property fell into new hands six months ago, and the previous owner's good reputation is being exploited to lure guests while the place crumbles. Six months of time under the new ownership is adequate to tarnish this hotel's once-stellar reputation. Proceed with EXTREME CAUTION if you consider this hotel for your stay. Choose wisely and avoid repeating our misfortune. Last but not least, I just wanted to say one last thing to the hotel crew (especially to the dearest owner): Kahwoud!!!
