The worst hotel I have ever been to. This is a smart hotel, and you cannot find the hotel staff easily since the check-in counter is separate from the hotel area with keycard access. The smart check-in system is difficult to use; almost every guest faces problems during check-in, but none of the staff provide support as their front office is inside the hotel. The hotel should put a guideline next to the machine and list out where the guest can find the booking number for check-in.
The heater in the room is not hot enough. The hotel claims that we can get an extra heater in the front office, but we asked twice, and the staff still ignores us and is not trying to solve the problem. The sound insulation is also bad; we live on the 5th floor, and we can still hear the noise from the outdoor and corridors, which affects our sleep quality badly. During the stay, the hotel would not provide any room cleaning, and if you need an extra towel, you can only get it from the front office. There are no kettles in the room, but you can ask the front office to get one. We asked them, but they said they do not have any kettle left, even though it is still 3 p.m. All of the disadvantages of hotels are explained, as that is the reason why the hotel price can be so cheap, which is not acceptable.
The common area is dirty due to guest are lack of public spirirt and staff not cleaning the common area. The coffee machine is out of order, and the refrigerator in common area is smelly.
You can store your luggage in the hotel, but the luggage can be easily stolen since the room can be easily accessed by the keycard of every guest, and the room is far from the front office, which means no one is looking after it.
Check-out is amazingly easy; you only need to type in the room number, and you can check out for random hotel guests even if you do not have their keycard. This hotel seriously affected my enjoyment during this trip to Oslo. I do not recommend that you choose this hotel.
