HANASTAY MINAMI

There were no update from host on details of the upcoming stay and what to expect. They could have informed a few days prior to the booking that check in instructions will be provided on the day itself. I had to check with trip.com as the number provided was incorrect and I couldn't msg or call to ask. On the day of check-in, they only sent some instructions after 3pm to fill in details. I sent it back and did not hear from them. An hour later I contacted trip.com to check for me as we were just waiting elsewhere for the check in instructions. Thanks to trip.com's very prompt response, they contacted the host and gave us the instructions. Not even a proper email from host. The host did not provide any house rules like where to throw the rubbish and to navigate around the house. We had to figure out all of these ourselves especially the garbage as we stayed for 5 days. The only email I received after their first email was a complaint from a pesky tenant downstairs saying that we were too noisy. We were packing our luggages and of course there were alot of movement in the apartment. We were not talking loudly or laughing. The irony is that, the house is located beside a busy street with sirens from ambulance wailing every few hours and cars whizzing by. We had people standing outside of the apartment talking and laughing loudly late at night. If people want a quiet place, then this is NOT the place for them. My friend and I have no issues with the sound from traffic or people talking. After that we had to tiptoe around the apartment and talk softly like whispering. It is like walking on eggshells around the house just to appease a pesky tenant even though they too were noisy. Location wise, it is a 6-8 mins walk to Nankai line (Kishinosato-Tamade station), 12 mins walk to Midosuji line (Kishinosato stn) or 10 mins walk to Yotsubashi line (Tamade stn). Aeon is close to the Nankai line and there's Family Mart and Lawson near the Midosuji line. There's also a pharmacy nearby. The apartment is sufficiently equipped with a pot and pan, cutleries and plates. There is a washing machine inside. Only thing is no place to hang your clothes and no hangars. The bed is not the most comfy but can still sleep through the night. For those who have trouble climbing up stairs, it is steep!
