Boutique Hotel Planlim

It was great experience and we would highly recommended it. Especially Luca and he is very helpful and kindly explained everything and gave us great advice. We would go back again in future. Great breakfast as well

What a gem, we were here for 3 nights. This hotel is so clean, its looks brand spanking new. Great amenities, short 5 minute walk to town. The attention to detail on the design is amazing. It’s a modern hotel, that is family run for 5 generations. Very comfortable beds, nice bathroom and great views of the mountains.

We absolutely loved our stay. The hotel is beautiful, the staff were wonderful and welcoming, and the breakfast was excellent. The wellness area was a real highlight, especially the sauna with its breathtaking mountain views. A beautiful and relaxing place that we would happily return to.

The location was excellent, only a couple minute walk to 2 gondolas and downtown. The hiking stop both mountains was brathtaking. Room was wonderful with the best view of the mountain. Make sure you get a room with view. The entire facility was spotless. Frederica was a delight at reception and made us feel welcome. Brand new outdoor pool, gym, indoor pool, meditation room along with saunas, hot tub, roof top viewing were all excellent. The only slight negative is gym could be open earlier. Morning included breakfast was a wonderful start to the day along with yoga/Pilates classes. Truly wonderful 3 nights of our trip.

We stayed 4 nights at Boutique Hotel Planlim and had a lovely stay. The hotel is perfectly located to access all 3 cable car stations within 10-15 mins, plus the main area for restaurants and the bus station. But be forewarned it is up a steep hill up so with heavy luggage was a very hard climb. We didn’t know there is a local bus 355.4 which runs once an hour from the bus station that stops right outside the hotel. Our room had a lovely balcony with view over the garden with pool and Alpe Di Suisi cable car. A small kitchenette with fridge was handy especially if staying for longer. There’s an indoor pool area and sauna/steam room which was small but functional. Also a hot tub on the roof. The only downside for us was there was no aircon in the room. There was a tower fan provided but we did find the room stuffy and hot at night so in the height of summer it maybe more of an issue. Staff were very friendly and helpful and there was a lovely touch of a welcome aperitif one night and parting honey gift. I couldn’t fault their communication being informed via What’s App ahead of arrival and departure. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

What a wonderful experience. Attention is paid to every detail. Beautiful rooms and grounds. Delicious food and lovely staff.
