Disney's Wilderness Lodge

Hôtel grandiose « façon Disney World » :-) Excellente situation au calme et à proximité immédiate du Magic Kingdom. Le personnel est d’une remarquable efficacité ainsi que d’une grande gentillesse. Une attention permanente et bienveillante est réservée aux enfants. Nous y retournerons lors de notre prochain séjour.

The Old Faithful Club is the club level at the Wilderness Lodge and we found it to have the best food of all of the Disney club levels. There was always food that our two little picky eaters would eat. While the club level isn’t cheap the cost can be offset if you do much of your dining there. The cast members were also great in the club level. You can catch the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the club level area and we were told they also pipe in the music for the fireworks but we watched the fireworks from the comfort of our room. We stayed in room 7066 and as you can see from the photos the view of the fireworks was amazing. This room is also the closest room to the club level so grabbing a quick cup of coffee first thing in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening is just around the corner.

Disney's Wilderness Lodge is our favorite resort so far. We were here in the beginning of October, and this past June as well. It is very relaxing, we loved just hanging out in the beautiful lobby. Pools are great too. Rooms are very nice. I haven't got anything negative to say about it!!

We stayed at this resort many years ago and loved it then. The resort has renovated their rooms and have retained the wonderful theming as well as improving the rooms. We had a non connecting room on the 6th floor overlooking Cinderella’s Castle. We watched the fireworks from our balcony. We had two very comfortable queen beds, large flatscreen TV, multiple outlets and a beautiful bathroom with both a rain shower head and a handheld one. A coffee maker and refrigerator were provided. There is a quick service restaurant and two sit down restaurants. You can get a motor launch ride to the Magic Kingdom, the campground and the Contemporary Resort. Buses also service to take you to different areas at Disney. Book a higher floor room and ask for it to be non connecting to ensure it will be quiet. You can pay extra to have access to the club floor too. We will definitely return here on our next visit.

I'll start by saying that it's a beautiful hotel. Absolutely one of Disney's prettiest resorts. It's like transporting yourself from Disney to a diffrent area, a different state, indeed somewhere in the Northwest. It also has some of the best dining venues in Disneyworld. Story Book Dining at Artist Point, is for me in the top three characters dining experiences. The Evil Queen is just hilarious. The experience in the Whispering Canyon Cafe is one of a kind. I laughed through the whole breakfast service. So why not a 5 stars review? I arrived at the resort early (around noon), doing a split stay and moving from another Disney resort. I had a Taylor Swift concert (in Tampa) later that evening, and I was hoping to get a room early. I know it's never guaranteed to get a room early, but I've stayed at Disney resorts many times, and always felt that cast members went above and beyond trying to find a room early. I even once got back from a cruise at 8:30 am and got my room immediately. This time I felt that there was no effort made by the front desk. What I love about DIsney is the feeling that everyone is making an extra effort to help. This time it was not there. But it's absolutely a beautiful resort.

This was our first stay in a deluxe and we loved it. It rained while we were here and not needing to go outside to get to the restaurant was a huge bonus. We also loved his walkable everything was. Getting coffee in the morning was easier than going to my kitchen (well not quite but you get my point). The buses were awesome and we rarely had to wait (and they were never full). We also loved the boat too mk. The pool was good - however my kids were very disappointed that couldn't use the splat pad. I'd recommend.

Beautiful resort start to finish. Incredible location and very convenient for all the parks with various transport options. The grounds are stunning and the staff are exceptionally helpful with any queries or requests. Will definitely stay here again.

First feelings when entering the lobby of the lodge was that is was "huge." To me, the lodge would feel more comfortable during the late fall and winter season with its lodge decor and fireplaces being inviting. We stayed here because, for us, we have not stayed at this deluxe resort before and its proximity to Magic Kingdom. PROS-The resort itself makes you feel you were in the woods, easy boat ride to the front of Magic Kingdom just like from TTC, beautiful decor and grounds, nice gift shop. Our room was overlooking an area near the lobby which was fine and the balcony itself was ok. Our room was decent size for the 2 of us. Plenty of storage and good size bathroom. Food was okay. We ate at the quick serve a few times and the Geyser Point Bar and Grill. We placed mobile orders and ate on our balcony not at each place. CONS- being a larger resort there was some walking; especially from the parking lot (we had our own car) to the entrance doors to the resort. Employees of the resort used the same parking as the guest. Yes, there was specific places to park for employees, but no one to enforce it. Each day we used our car we watched employees going to and from their vehicles walking right by ours. Sometimes, they had better parking spots than we did so prepare to walk. Another con was valet guest services didn't like you temporarily parking in the valet drop off and pick up if you wanted to unload your vehicle so prepare to carry your luggage and items up many sets of steps to get to the front doors. This seems to be a Disney thing at many resort. Another CON; only 2 sets of elevators. On our check in day, a cast member told me I would have to take the elevator (furthest away) past the restaurants, down a long ramp, through the busy lobby crowds, just to get to my room. Nope! We did that and then found the other elevator (closer to the check in desk and gift store). The resort has 2 sides: Wilderness Lodge and Copper Creek which is DVC. I guess the non-DVC guest are pushed to the elevator furthest away. However, the Wilderness Lodge side connects up to the Copper Creek side and elevator. This was much easier. During the evening, the Magic Kingdom fireworks music is pumped through the resort so, during that time, the outside are can be loud and we could hear everything inside our room. While it seems like a lot of CONS we would stay here again.

We splurged for a stay on the concierge level, and enjoyed our time visiting all the parks. We like staying here because of the lodge feel and laid back vibe. All the cast members were so accommodating. Can’t wait to return for another magical visit!
