We booked a cabin that sleeps five for two nights. The owner/s were lovely. Very friendly and easy to deal with. The campground itself is fantastic - the bathrooms are very clean with everything you need. Great shared kitchen facility and plenty of picnic tables and a small lounge. Great playground for the kids and location to the beach is just brilliant! Unfortunately, we all (well, four of five of us) found the mattresses/beds far too uncomfortable and as a result were not able to sleep and got up in the morning feeling sore. We made the joint decision to forfeit our second night. If you like campgrounds/camping/cabins - I DO recommend. But if you are wanting comfort then probably not. (Do comfort and camping ever go together though??)

This Gem of a camp Right on Opunake Beach is Fabulous,This is our Second Time here,And we can’t rate it highly enough,The Staff,Facilities,And Super Family Friendly,Right on Opunake beach,Thanks Anton We will Definitely Be Back,To Enjoy This Wonderful Place ❤️

Neat tidy cabin that had all amenities that we needed. We arrived late and Shelly was very accommodating, lights and electric blankets turned on. Great weather made for a great weekend. Thank you for lovely stay 🙂

A group of friends and I stayed at the cabins and had a super time. We were embarking on a world record attempt cycling cape egmont to east cape non stop. The location for the night before our start was fab. The location of the camp is amazing with the proximity to the beach a real treat. The staff are so friendly and the accomodation modern and so clean. We all had a super stay. All of us said we would love to stay again and explore more from this great spot. Lots of handy shops and places to eat near by too and super close to all the places you want to see such as cape egmont, the mountain and surrounding towns.

Great location just over the dunes to Opunake Surf Beach. Park had unfortunately received a lot of rain in preceding days that limited site availability, as they were trying to allow the ground to dry out and not get tyre ruts and mud everywhere. Facilities were fairly clean, but basic, really annoying shower set-up was the push button plunger timer affair with no temperature control, so if you don't like a luke warm shower, or a continuous one, tough bikkies!

Overcharged , site impossible to find. so bright couldn’t sleep. Dirty bathroom’s and a dead rat in the kitchen. Does not deserve one star. Would not recommend to anyone. Snappy woman in office needs a lesson in customer service very very unpleasant

This was a lovely campground. It wasn’t too busy when we were there so the owners let us pick our own site to set up on. Good amount of kitchen cooking and washing up facilities. Lots of showers and toilets in the bathroom block. Loved being so close to the beach. We would definitely come back here in the future.

Great spot. Close to town if you need respite from the kids at the pub. Less than ten minute walk. Or a trip to the 4 square for groceries and a bottle of wine. Lovely flat beach for the kids but also good surfing. Excellent shop for ice cream fish and chips. Very good clean showers and toilets. Would definitely stay again.

Just completed an awesome week at BBBach with our family. Four generations had a wonderful time. Bach itself has absolutely everything there you could possibly need - wetsuits & jackets all sizes, toys galore, books, jigsaws, TV, Netflix, DVD's, squash court, bikes, table tennis and more. Fully equipped kitchen including 2x dish washers and 3x fridges. The area itself is beautiful - lovely walks for all ages, and the beach so close we were there everyday. Loved it do much, we've already booked again for next year.
