Our stay began with the receptionist, Nicole, serving us complimentary wine and it even got better from there. Book the double room with balcony and sea view. The hotel sits about half way up the small mountain overlooking the Volosko harbor–-amazing view. The hotel has its own garage below which is a big plus in Croatia. Nicole took us to our room herself and made sure we got settled in. The balcony is huge with two large wicker chairs and a big table. We watched the moon rising over the harbor. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant which was excellent. I had the sea bass caught locally which was excellent and my wife has their home made pasta. The wait staff knew perfect English and were very professional. The complimentary breakfast buffet was typical European serving a wide variety of items. The next morning Nicole gave us recommendations on what to see and how to get there. Everyone at Hotel Laurus was so kind and welcoming. Definitely stay here--you won't be disappointed.

We had a great stay at the Hotel Laurus in late September, thanks partially to the spacious rooms with spectacular views, but primarily because of the lovely staff. All of the staff were friendly and very helpful and attentive, but Nicole Kadmen, who was at reception on our arrival, was a real standout. Always smiling and exuberant, as a local resident she gave us excellent recommendations for places to eat and visit. In addition, we had made reservations at the last minute on the road and got two rooms which ended up on different floors - Nicole saw our disappointment and kindly arranged an upgrade so that we could be next to each other. We woke up the next morning to a brilliant view of the Adriatic Sea, both from our rooms and the breakfast terrace. The breakfast buffet was generous, as was the service from the gentlemen there. Highly recommended.

Great small hotel. Room very clean really comfortable beds with fluffy pillows and duvets. The pool area is quiet and relaxing. The food is fantastic from the extensive breakfast to the al la carte in the evening all eaten on the terrace with fabulous views of the bays As a solo traveller I cannot thank the staff enough for making the feel so welcome from the moment I arrived they cannot do enough for you and genuinely want you to enjoy your stay all with a smile I was even presented with a breakfast box to take on my return journey to the airport as it was early this was just one example the staff looking after the guests so well. I throughly recommend for a relaxing stay

Excellent breakfast with a lovely view outside. Funny, very kind and helpful at the reception, good restaurant with top service, clean rooms and above all very nice people. A small tip : a shuttle service (which shouldn’t be for free) to the center might help the heights to bridge as parking places are limited in the center. Anyway, price quality is superior.

Beautiful hotel with view on entire Kvarner bay, very private and peaceful. But more important than building are people. Amazing service and super kind and friendly staff: Drazenka, Marko, Stefanos and director Mateo made our short stay relaxed and memorable. Thank you 🙏🏻

Great view, excellent all round hotel clean and pristine. Couldnt be happier with the room it was clean and fresh and the staff were helfull with all our requirements and also gave us great tips on where the best beaches were to swim.

Beautiful location. Restaurant best I have had in Croatia so far. Staff were so accomodating and welcoming. Amazing views and very tranquil location. A great place to really unwind and enjoy. Highly recommend and will definitely return as soon as possible.
