Super 8 by Wyndham Ontario

The fan in the bathroom was very loud. Spomething on the backside of our heater/ac unit was making a lot of noise. Mentioning the heat/ac unit, it is mounted high on the bathroom wall. I am 6' 2" and I had stand on my tip toes to turn it on and make adjustments. My wife in 5' 5" and couldn't come close to reaching the controls. Otherwise clean and comfortable.

It was cold and could not regulate the heat. The bathroom was a lot to be desired. If you arr a truck driver it might be ok but not a place for a family to stay in

The room was cold and we had a difficult time getting the old heater to work. We ran the hot water in the shower for over 5 minutes and had no hot water, so changed to cold and got hot water, so the water was plumbed wrong. The “Superstar” breakfast was a choice of Frosted Flakes or Raisin Bran and a cold sausage and egg sandwich. All in all a pathetic breakfast with no table to sit and eat it at, so we had to sit Bona a couch in the lobby and use a coffee table for a table. All in all a very poor experience. I don’t think we will use Super 8 again in the future.

This property was very old and not updated The carpet was dirty and it smelled bad. Property was between a truck stop and a Weedology store of which the sign was almost over the motel. We asked to change rooms as there was a stain of either blood or wine on the sheet. The clerk was kind and helpful as was the checkout clerk. This property is not up to the standards of a Wyndham location and should be closed until updated. Location did not feel safe, there were only 3 cars on the whole place overnight. We were so tired we gutted it out but will not book again anywhere unless we see the property first.

For such a slow night, I wish they hadn’t put us right next to another occupied room when it was obvious that there were plenty of other empty rooms. But overall it was an ok stay.

The room was nice and modern. We have stayed there before and will again.

The office was not open and would not answer a phone. Told to call a number and got Rodeway Inn. They knew nothing about. Could not cancel and was stuck 100 miles away.

I was comfortable at this hotel and the bed was very comfortable. It’s an older hotel and some things will be less than expected and overpriced by some, but I found the stay comfortable.

This is an older motel that I have stayed in several times. I love how friendly everyone is and how accommodating. A couple of times I had circumstances that made me arrive very late and I was out of cell range to let them know when I would get there. The people made a note by my name and had a room waiting for me. I also love their Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches. The huge parking lot is nice also. It's easy to get to and easy to leave from.
