Green Resort

Very friendly and welcoming staff, my cabins is new, clean and self contained. The cabins are set among beautiful big tree’s and the heating was very effective. The location is central to all of the most famous beaches and attractions in the area

I cant recommend this place enough. Our cabin was spacious, clean and well equipped. The best thing about it is the setting. Set in quiet woodlands with just the noise of a multitude of birds twittering away! We enjoyed lazing on the deck or in the hammock that was provided. Days spend swimming in the beautiful pool minutes away from our cabin or walking through the forest to the beach. The reception staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay and the shop and cafe near the reception is well equipped with food staples and daily bread and croissants in the morning. It's also a great base for exploring the surrounding area, days trips to Biarritz or bike hire to go through the forest to visit nearby beach resorts. Our kids were older teens but there is so much for little ones here too. A wonderful holiday destination for all ages and tastes!

We enjoyed our stay chez in the Green Resort in mid-August 2023. The setting is very pleasant, set in a wood consisting of exotic cypris trees within a manageable walk to the beach and right beside an active bar/supermarket. There was very pleasant entertainment each evening (special mention to the French signer Clemence, who was great). The bungalows are very well equipped and are in a truly lovely setting with sufficient space between each one – although it would be preferable to clarify the cleaning service options. Ideal for a peaceful time. There are 2 pools and there were different activities offered for all our young teens – although they did not avail of them (also as there were not always in English, but mainly cause they were ‘teens’!). Personally I loved the massage I had. We enjoyed cycling around too, with lots of local sites and towns to visit, all within 30 mins by bike. You may wish to reserve your bikes in advance in peak season: “1 Velo” (100 meters from the club offers a great service). What was particularly memorable was that all the staff who always had a smile no matter the weather (we had a lot of rain!) and were invariable helpful. Thank you to all for making our happy holiday. One request for the future, would be to keep some lightning on around the bar and on the street late in the evening, as we could easily have tripped over the pavement (my Dad who enjoyed the stay is 82!). The only negative I could offer is the that it was expensive (although I do admit that August is expensive in France), anyway apart form that an excellent beach vacation.

We had a great time at Green Resort, my husband, my daughter and Cocker Spaniel. The cocoon was very comfortable and spacious and we loved the pool and the very well stocked shop. The walk to the beach is through a pine forrest on sandy ground. Good for lots of walks with the dog, but a bit far if you want to take a lot of things. You can rent a bicycle just outside the resort though!

Good cottage close to excursions to Biarritz and San Sebastian. Nice beach nearby and good pool in the area. Green Resort is presented as an ecovillage but it is located in a camping area, the advertising did not quite match the reality.

Lodging - the cocoons - top notch, very quiet area, great access to bike trails and woods for family rides and dog walks. Really enjoyed the Pilates and yoga, particularly when it was outside in the woodland area. Reception staff excellent……..

Welcoming staff. Perfect location! Accomodation offers a lot of comfort. Beach within walking distance. Nice and quiet. We all enjoyed. The swimming pool, in the middle of nature is Unique...Dog friendly location. Lovely experience!

We had a wonderful time at Green Resort. We stayed in suite for 2 during 7 days. Our stay couldn’t have more peaceful. Well equiped, great location, and a helpful and welcoming team. Will come back again!
