"Ficámos na Plaza como parte de um pacote que reservamos através do Jet2 e foi absolutamente bom. Omiš é uma bela cidade e o hotel está localizado exatamente onde você quer estar. "I am normally very easy-going when it comes to accommodation during our holidays. However, cleanliness and basic hygiene are not things I am willing to compromise on, regardless of the price range. Unfortunately, Camping Almissa was a major disappointment in this regard. The location of the campsite directly by the sea is certainly a plus. However, our bungalow was located immediately next to the main road, which made it particularly noisy at night. When booking, they prominently advertise “hotel rooms” and bungalows with sea views. We chose the more basic option, which would have been perfectly adequate for the three of us. Unfortunately, the actual condition of the accommodation was very disappointing. The bungalow was extremely small. Two people could barely stand next to each other, and the cupboard doors could not even be opened properly. We had to move the table out onto the veranda just to have enough space to get our suitcases inside. Even more concerning, however, was the overall condition and cleanliness. The pictures speak for themselves: mould in the shower area, dirty and stained bed linen and curtains, as well as visible traces and leftovers from previous guests. The bathroom lighting was only partially present or functional. In accommodation where families with children stay, we do not consider this acceptable. There was also no toilet paper holder. The dishes provided were not clean when we arrived either. Some basic kitchen items were also missing, including something as simple as a salad bowl. There was also an unpleasant situation at check-in. We were initially told that €77 was due for the final cleaning. However, according to our ******* booking, the amount listed for final cleaning was only €41.79. After we pointed this out and showed our booking confirmation, the amount was immediately corrected to €41.79. In our opinion, such a discrepancy in the charges should not occur in the first place. The one thing we can genuinely praise is the proximity to the sea. In the end, the sea was the only reason we were still able to enjoy parts of our stay. At least we could make up some of the sleep we lost because of the constant traffic noise by spending time on the beach during the day. We also repeatedly found rubbish around the campsite, including screws and even larger pieces of old furniture lying on the ground. On a campsite where children are staying and playing, we would expect such things to be removed regularly. Overall, based on our experience, the condition of our accommodation did not meet the standard we would expect from a tourist property. The beautiful seaside location cannot make up for the significant shortcomings in cleanliness, facilities and noise levels. Unfortunately, this is not a place we would recommend."
