Great friendly, family run pub, nice warm friendly welcome, lots of space and pool table lots of outdoor space. lovely fire place that we sat next too, for a couple of drinks very cosy, great variety of alcoholic drinks.. We had a Sunday roast it was very nice good choice of meats and vegetables the roast potatoes were delicious very reasonable priced too, would definitely recommend trying this pub out for a nice place to go

Received a very warm welcome and given great service. Food was good with the usual pub menu and very reasonable prices. Plenty of tables and chairs available plus pool and darts are in a separate room.

We had a lovely meal in this pub. We were staying in one of the holiday lodges behind the pub which was amazing. Having the pub right there meant we didn’t have to drive out to Okehampton. Met the owners of the park and the cabins and they were really nice too. The bar staff were really friendly and even allowed us to borrow a few champagne glasses to take back to our lodge to celebrate a friend’s birthday, Thank you - we will be back :)

There were alot of options in regards to which Roast including a vegetarian option. We booked a table for 1:30 pm and we also told them we had our dog so they could seat us accordingly. The food was lovely and the staff were very friendly

Welcoming for us and our dog. Amazing service and great food, menu great and surprised the lunch time deal was actually full size portions. Big respect for Pawel who made us feel and Luna feel at home. Will be back as amazing little place. Thank you.

Brilliant find! Although the new owners have only been here a few months they certainly seem to have started off as they mean to go on. Food is outstanding and such value for money. Staff were accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Really great family run place. We’ll be back 💯

Visited Betty Cottles with my friend and my dog for a pub lunch after a long walk around Meldon. We sat in the Garden which was very nice, plenty of room between the tables and a play area for children. I believe its also dog friendly indoors outside of the restaurant room. Lunch was fantastic, good pricing, well sized portions and really tasty. I heard mixed reviews of this pub previously but from what I understand, it is now under new management. Would recommend a visit

Visited for lunch today. As the place is under new management. Bright, clean and spaciousbar and resturant. Beef roast dinner and turkey dinner were excellent and plentiful. Our partners had sausage and mash and pie with chips abd both portions were large and tasty. The staff were polite and helpful. A thouroughly enjoyable meal well done to the new management and team

New owners! New fantastic team! And fresh food at delicious prices! What more could you want?! Food is all handmade by the chef and the staff are always happy and available to assist if needed! Don’t believe me?! Stop Inn ;) and check it out!
