The Inn at Ocean Springs

The Mackey Suite was located right on the main street within easy walking distance to many great restaurants, shops and cafes. The bay is a short 15 minute walk down the road. The room was tastefully decorated and the bed comfy. In this building there are 2 suites to choose from and I really wish I have of known that our suite was right next to a VERY busy and great coffee shop that opens at 7am. The walls are thin so our room was noisy. Luckily we needed to be up and out early otherwise this would have been a huge problem. If I returned I would book the back suite. Each room has it's own A/C , but I think it was also linked to a 'mains system' So even when we turned our unit of we were still blasted by cold air making the room very cold. In August I'm sure that is welcome, in early May not so much! They do provide a waffle and coffee from said coffee shop for breakfast, and the coffee is probably one of the best I have had. This company owns many rooms about town and they were very helpful in allowing us to store our luggage off site and kindly delivering it to our suite. Overall a nice stay despite the wake up call!

Beware there is no innkeeper here or no breakfast for us. On the coldest night of the year the heat was unreliable. We had to request more blankets. The handyman delivered one blanket and a mattress pad. It was all he could find. The description said it included complimentary breakfast at an adjacent waffle and coffee shop but their pipes froze. When we requested a refund for breakfast management did nothing. Overpriced, below average, and poor customer service recovery.

Not fancy, but cozy. Located in the heart of the old business downtown. Nice shops and places to eat and drink. Enjoyed our stay to visit relatives for the holiday. Only issue was the bed was too soft and noisy when you sat on it or rolled over.

We stayed in the Avenue Suite. The location is great for access to shops and restaurants, as well as a 10 minute walk to the beach. The building includes two suites and a small coffee shop in the front that is excellent. The Avenue Suite is the behind the other suite off the road. Although there was a lot of pedestrian and car traffic, the room was quiet, except for a public works crew that came by at 5:30 am each day to blow off the streets and sidewalks. That was not an ideal wake up for vacation and of course the proprietor has no control over this. The accommodation consists of a bedroom and bathroom, and the entrance into the bedroom faces a raised walkway which does get some foot traffic. The lighting right outside the room is bright in the evening, keeping the bedroom quite bright as well overnight. The room includes a refrigerator and microwave tucked in a closet and an ice machine right outside the room built into the wall. Room AC comes from an in-wall unit as well as "central" AC, the latter of which does not appear to have a thermostat to control the temperature from in the room. The temperature fluctuated a lot during our stay. The room had a musty smell which detracted. The bathroom could use a thorough cleaning and perhaps a new coat of paint. The shower has very low water pressure and is missing some floor tiles. Adding a small shelf in the shower for soap/razor would be helpful. I would look for some other options when coming back to town.

Very negative room experience: 1. Left with multiple bites on legs (likely bed bugs) 2. No central AC - humid room, sticky surfaces 3. TV doesn't work Staff experience was favorable. Found them to be helpful.

The Hemingway is a quaint, charming Inn located at the foot of Ocean Springs lively scene. The room types are all different, with quality bedding, and bathroom amenities. This is a fantastic place ideal for couples.

Our family had a wedding this past weekend in Ocean Springs. My husband & I were in the Mackey Suite, other family members were in the Avenue Suite and The Hadley at The Hemingway. The locations are "PERFECT!!" You are on Washington Avenue and can walk everywhere to wonderful restaurants and fun shopping!! The beach is also a short distance. This was our first trip to Ocean Springs and we are already planning a future get-a-way!! Thank you for sharing your beautiful properties !!

Perfect location to walk to everything in downtown. Very comfortable suite with off street parking, luxury bedding, mini fridge and microwave. Great air conditioner! Keyless entry and host checked in to be sure we had everything. Coffee shop attached!!

The room was perfect- cozy, comfortable and cute! The patio area was so peaceful in the evenings. The location is amazing for enjoying downtown Ocean Springs. The only negatives happened the morning of check out— a few people sat at the table directly beside our window and chatted loudly for 3 hours, and someone opened our door without warning an hour before check out time. Yikes!
