I stayed in here multiple times. Everytime I stay in this place i see it getting worst. La quinta is not like its used to, before wyndham took over la quinta is a very nice and clean. My whole stay was horrible: 1. If you need towels you need to go to from desk to get some. You're lucky if you can get one in the morning. They don't clean your room anymore is by request. 2. The room is very dirty when I checked in. 3. The bed is terrible. It feels like you in Trendelenburg position when you sleep. 4. If you call for Maintenance forget it you will be waiting for hours. 5. I have a do not disturb sign outside the door. Maintenance guy still went inside the room to change AC filter. I want to write this review so people don't waste there money paying on a dirty hotel.

I'm going to sound like a total Karen but I hoped for better for the price I paid for 3 night stay with my pre-treen twins. The location was ok, right across the street from Jolly Rogers & plenty of restaurants & shopping within walking distance; the parking lot was covered in cigarette butts outside every entrance, no ashtrays. The people working seemed pleasant & attentive but not so much with keeping up with cleaning. I noticed a hairball in plain sight in 1 hallway, a spill in another hallway also in plain sight for the whole time we stayed. I think I only herd a vacuum in the hall 1x the whole stay. Each hallway had its own smell, mostly bad smells & smells of pot on every floor (because I wander). Things to buy at front desk not stocked. pool was clean but is only 3 ft deep, weird but good for little kids. No fruit for breakfast. Hair & sand in main public bathrooms & elevators & all windows dirty. The stairs very yuck. Ice machines, only a few worked. A/C on second floor was out the whole time we stayed. No fan in room bathrooms, sink clogged, shower head not fixed, no water pressure, remote smashed (had to get new one), sliding door broken - did not close all the way, the glass seal between the double pains broken with mould or staining, mould all over vents & lamp-shade (I thought it was lint untill I looked closer which was also on the pictures too) headboards uncleaned. We had to go buy a broom from dollar store for the constant sand we tracked in even on the days we didn't go to the beach- i asked to use theirs & it was sticky & was discussingly clumped with hair. Most of this wouldn't be so bad if I was by my self & didn't pay as much but me & my kids were very disappointed- this place needs an overhaul.

Dirty hotel, mold present on doors walls & celings, carpets in hallways not vacuumed, floors in rooms dirty. Property is unkempt & poor maintenance. Ants present throughout hotel. Stopped at front desk & requested clean towels and washcloths. Staff removed dirty towels but never gave us new. Had to go to front desk to pick up my own towels & washcloths. Ants were visible in breakfast buffet area, at tables $ chairs and in guest rooms. Musty smell throughout hotel except for main lobby area. Many guests complained about having to be placed in new rooms due to mold. We could see plastic tape on corner of ceiling/wall & cheap repair of water damaged area. The sliding door had visible large areas of water damage. LaQuinta/Hilton should be embarrassed by the condition of this hotel. Not up to their normal quality standards.

Five of us stayed in a suite and had a great experience. The room was clean and spacious. The location in Ocean City was perfect, close to lots of attractions. The beach is right outside the door! The boardwalk is nearby. We will stay here again.

Gabby and staff are top notch! Mike, Miguel, Maketa, Lisa, and Dale all do their jobs with a smile on their face and in their hearts. They have been a true comfort to my husband and I in our greatest time of need. The facility is clean and the accomodations are great. Customer service is top notch.

Maintenance supervisor was extremely rude. We were given a plunger to fix our own toilet. Really? And when checking out after settling our $200+ bill was told that we were not customers. I guess that means that we didn't stay there three nights (which we did). And when I asked him his name his response was "Have a nice day" over and over. Hospitality and Customer service are obviously something that this man knows nothing about. Amy at the front desk didn't do much better. I believe their motto should be "the customer is never right." Our dogs barked a little. as did several others. (PET FRIENDLY HOTEL- not so much) so we were called constantly. Why would anyone complain about dogs barking when they know it's supposed to be "PET FRIENDLY"? We stayed 11-25-15 through 11-28-15 and I feel the service there were less than adequate.

The Good: The staff is friendly and welcoming. The front desk receptionist was knowledgeable and provided excellent recommendations for local restaurants and breweries. The location is convenient, and the room was spacious. The balcony was a nice touch, even during the winter months. They are dog friendly and it was my major point. There is a small dog area outside the hotel, but its too small and my dog refused to pee there. No other green areas around. The Not-So-Great: Cleanliness is a major issue. The entire hotel felt unkempt. The hallway carpets had visible litter that remained for three days without being vacuumed. Mirrors were poorly cleaned, leaving noticeable streaks. The sink fixtures were stained with mineral buildup. The floors in the dining area of the hotel were sticky. Breakfast was underwhelming, with limited options—no fresh fruit like apples or yogurt. The scrambled eggs seemed to be from a carton, accompanied by sausages and waffles. The coffee, at least, was decent.

The location of hotel is great. The pool is great as far as servers poolside was wonderful. I’m getting straight to the point the room was horrible as far as the smell soon as you walk in it smells like a animal lives in the room. The floor was disgusting sticky, pet hairs all over floor they obviously don’t mop the whole floor. Garbage was left behind the tv dresser also the bathroom sink was clogged up so it filled with dirt and went down slower then TSA security line at JFK airport. My daughter has asthma and allergies and was coughing like crazy from the hotel. I would think they would have specific rooms for owners with pets which is fine but to allow pets to come to the establishment you should have a different cleaning procedure.

I chose this hotel first off because I wanted to avoid carpet especially being a beach community. As soon as we arrived you could smell something foul from the air conditioning. We shrugged it off to it being a rainy and humid day. We checked in with no problems and then got on the elevator to our room. #416. We opened the door and were greeted by a worse smell and a completely dirty room. My wife spent almost an hour cleaning the room herself. The head boards of the bed were covered in greasy stains and there was dust everywhere. The phone was disgusting with brown stains. After the room was cleaned my wife went to finish up cleaning in the bathroom. What a mistake. That was the worse. So bad that she went down to the front desk to show the front desk the towels. He was completely floored. We had planned to stay a few days but after seeing the poor conditions of this hotel we cut it to just the night and cancelled the remaining days already booked. I understand that yes they are busy and I had modest expectations but this place doesn't even come close. The absolute worse was the loud air conditioning which sounds like a airplane getting ready to take off. I do not see myself staying or recommending a La Quinta again.
