Ronebhal Guest House is among the very best places I've ever stayed in. With just a handful of rooms, there is a great deal of privacy, but also the chance to interact with the very fabulous owners, and that turned out to be the highlight of my trip. The rooms are large and bright, the bathrooms are new, modern, and beautifully appointed, and the view over the loch is amazing. The breakfast room is great, and has the same beautiful view over the loch. The owners buy all products locally and prepare delicious breakfasts. After touring the Oban distillery, I brought back a bottle, and John (the owner) and I sat in the front room in the evening watching the sunset, enjoying the whisky, and talking into the night.

Beautiful house on the waterfront was so welcoming by hosts John and Sally. We upgraded to Seaview Family room from Standard King due to a cancellation and loved looking out to the peaceful water views. Immaculate room, lovely styling and incredible bathroom to luxuriate in! Breakfasts were so delicious and plentiful, very enjoyable start to the day. Parking right outside and easy drive to Oban town. This is a superb place to stay and plenty of tips and ideas and artwork for sale from our hosts.

We booked this B&B through *********** at a cost of £135 for the night and we found on arrival that this was to be in a back room on the ground floor. Our host then offered us a better room on the 1st floor with great views but asked for an extra £14 if we wanted it. As we didn't want the ground floor room at the back we paid the extra but with hindsight it was a bit expensive at £149 for one night in a B&B. However, the bathroom was huge and the beds were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was all we needed to set us up for the day.

We had a room on 1st floor overlooking the water with great views. The sunset was fantastic as was the room itself. We often sat in the evening in the chairs provided watching the sun set. The room was a good size as was the bathroom with a bath if required. The breakfast was terrific, offering both cereal, fruit, yoghurt and a cooked breakfast. On-site parking a bonus with a short drive into town
