We stayed here for 2 nights whilst exploring the Baiona area. I thought that the hotel was excellent for the following reasons: 1. Whilst it might appear slightly tired from the outside, the interior of the hotel is quite modern. Our room was large and light filled, with plenty of space and a large bathroom. We did not request or pay for a sea view room but our mountain view room had a balcony with a side view of the ocean. 2. The position of the hotel opposite and close to the ocean is magnificent. 3. I thought that it was very good value for money. 4. They have both a restaurant (that opens at 9pm and offers a dégustation menu) and a café. We ate at the café one night and I would rate their menu offering as a true restaurant offering, it contained a good range of meals typically found in Portuguese restaurants. The café is open for dinner before 9pm (I think it is open pretty much all day). Breakfast was included in our room rate and was good. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel if you have a car, as it would be difficult to access otherwise. Having said that, I think that there were some people using the hotel as a stop on the Portuguese Camino when we were there - so if you are doing that Camino and a stop here works for you in terms of timing, this would be a nice place to stay. We did not use the pool or spa facilities. Maybe next time……
