Beautiful setting and outstanding service. We adored it. A nineteenth century manor house has been turned into a really cool boutique hotel. The view of the hills is so beautiful. The breakfasts are delicious with local produce, pastries and cakes - some of my favorite meals in Sicily. The staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble

The hotel - the entire property, the rooms, the grounds, the pool and surrounding scenery are breathtaking. However, my husband and I had the misfortune of booking a wedding here June of 2020 and it was the most heart-wrenching, terrible, compassionate-less experience one could have imagined. Obviously the entire world and the business were going through lots of chaos and everyone was terrified of COVID and dealing with real health risks. We understood this and were willing to work with whatever we could salvage from the scenario given the hardships felt on all sides. However, over the course of two years and numerous back and forth with rescheduling and then finally needing to cancel due to immense travel restrictions in 2021, this hotel treated us with such little respect. They refused to offer us even a portion of our deposit back nor did they even offer to give back a portion of our deposit as a stay credit, even in the off-season. We lost about 20K euros from the deposit and absolutely nothing back. I feel compelled to write this now, even after all these years as I feel those who are looking at this hotel as a venue should be warned. I see natural disasters (severe weather, fires) and unplanned scenarios unfortunately continuing to unfold and want future couples to know how this hotel will treat you should that ever happen to anyone else.

The absolute best!! Words do not do not adequately describe the experience - magnificent breakfast on the terrace - romantic dinner overlooking pool - food was all amazing - service superb - friendly but not formal - special thanks to Alfio and Sante - we stayed in large Anunciata room amazing - huge bath for 2 - candles - beautiful antique furniture and paintings - we were also lucky to have met the Hotel owner Elena who was so friendly and warm and is the design creator of the hotel - the hotel design is very stylish and sophisticated - we definitely recommend and will be back

We stayed at this hotel in April 2022 and had two double rooms booked. The Pros: - good and healthy breakfast - nice pool The Cons: - The location - the hotel is far away from any major attractions and can only be reached with a car. - The rooms - the size of the bed is very small for two people. Room ceilings are also extremely high so if you visit this hotel when it is not hot and sunny, you have no chance to heat the room properly. Be prepared for cold nights. - The bathrooms - if you are lucky, your bathroom is massive. If you are unlucky, it is so small only one person can enter. Showers have no separation or doors and there is no place to put your cosmetics or products. - Egg dishes at breakfast must be paid extra - unbelievable given the extremely high room rates and given that all products assuringly come from their own farm. - Prices for dinner are also extremely high. - Upon check-in, we were asked if we wanted half-board or not. If you opt for half-board, you are not allowed to change that during your entire stay. This kind of inflexibility given such a premium hotel is not understandable to me. - The gym - whatever this "room" is, it cannot be described as a gym. It has one bike and one running machine plus some mats. No water or towels are provided. Upon inquiry at the reception, we were told that towels and water would not be provided and would come at an extra charge. Unbelievable! This may be a nice hotel for a wedding (but be ready for all those extra charges you are not told about) but otherwise I would not recommend this hotel, especially not with children or during bad weather. Spend your money elsewhere and more wisely.

I cannot begin to say enough positive things about our amazing, relaxing and joyful stay this past Sept. My husband and I loved it so much that we extended our stay for a full week...Best decision ever! We explored the beautiful, fascinating and historical baroque towns, hung out at the beach and enjoyed this incredible country hotel to the fullest...The perfect place for my overworked husband to decompress and absorb all the nature and the soul of this land. This country house hotel is simply stunning and designed to perfection...A compliment that I don't give freely, as I am a design and architecture junkie! Every detail has been thoughtfully tended to regarding comfort, convenience and aesthetic beauty...Rustic, natural and organic yet SO chic!!! The staff is the BEST!!!! The kind and accommodating gentleman made our delicious breakfasts and dinners a wonderful experience and I LOVED the girls in reception!!! Miryam and Merve couldn't have been more helpful and sweet...Both are intelligent, professional and absolutely lovely humans, who gave spot on recommendations and assisted us with sooo many things!!! Thank you AGAIN. :) :) :) Honestly, I could have stayed at this heavenly hotel for the rest of my days. Which means we must and will return...Hoping it's sooner than later! :)
