The worst hotel we've ever seen, please avoid it. It's a pity because the place is pretty and the bungalows well appointed, but : - the rooms are dirty, very very dirty - no toilet paper - impossible noise due to poor insulation - breakfast (included in the price) almost non-existent! An employee went to buy a packet of sandwich bread and some jam because we insisted (normally the "promised" breakfast is much more complete). - no water at all for showers and flushes, and no one solved the problem in 2 days, despite our requests - we felt we were disturbing the staff every time we asked for something (blowing, etc.) - we asked for a scooter one evening for the next morning. The next morning the staff had to phone because it hadn't been done. - the restaurant is not clean and there's not much to eat (several dishes were unavailable) A real nightmare we finally changed hotel and are much better off at "Onong's homestay".

Im Rahmen unserer Rundreise durch Nord-Sulawesi waren wir für 2 Nächte im Mountain View Resort. Im Grunde weiß man vorher, welche Qualität man bei Unterkünften in wenig erschlossene Regionen erwarten kann. Insofern möchte ich mich nicht beschweren. Allerdings ist es sehr schade, dass die hitzeanfälligen Holzhäuser nicht mindestens mit einem Deckenventilator ausgestattet sind. Die Bäder muffen, was ebenfalls den Temperaturen geschuldet ist. Insgesamt ist die Sauberkeit aber ok. Das Frühstück ist sehr spartanisch, das Restaurant bietet eine kleine Karte mit lokaler Küche. Billig und in Ordnung. Ich bewerte nur mit 3 Sternen, da ich den Namen des Resorts "Resort & Spa" unangemessen finde. Woher der Zusatz Spa kommt, erschließt sich mir nicht. Das blendet. Auch einfache Unterkünfte können glänzen und Pfiff haben. Das hat das Mountain View Resort leider nicht.
