Motel 6 Norman, OK

We were pleasantly surprised by the location. Close to food, shopping, gas, etc. The hotel parking lot is well lit and the outside well maintained. The lobby was very clean and hotel staff friendly and eager to assist. The room, on 2nd floor, was clean, and odor-free. Loved that there is no carpet, especially since we had 2 pups traveling with us. It is now our new go to on our way to and from TX annually.

The staff was very friendly and made our stay feel safe and like we were at home. Rooms were updated and very nice. This hotel was cleaner then the ones in Nebraska. Would stay again..

Clean and cheap. Thin walls were drawback. We could hear people talking in the hall and in the next room.

Staff was very friendly and our room was very clean! The bed was also very comfortable! Only complaints are that there wasn’t any necessities (shampoos, hair dryer, etc) things you need for a quick stay. Also the walls seemed very thin, you could here everything going on around you so at times it was a little noisy.

The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the a/c worked great, and the front desk guy was very nice. The strange part was the tiny vestibule where you check in just inside the front doors. Im not sure if they have had an issue with crime and the card entry second door to the lobby is necessary or what, but it is the first time I have ever encountered this at a hotel/motel. The only other thing (and this would be really just nit picking) was a stale smell throughout the building. Other than that, our stay was comfortable. I wouldn't pay $147 for this room again but it was necessary for OU Parent Weekend.

The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. The noise level ALL NIGHT kept me awake after driving a long distance. I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

It was a good deal for the price We were on the third floor and it was quiet Room was clean No additional amenities. No shampoo lotion or conditioner Bed was firm We did not find a a soda or drink machine There was a snack machine

I stayed here five years ago, and it was a nice property. Our stay in 2023 was just as nice. It's in a decent area, LOTS of dining and grocery nearby. We had a nice and comfortable no-frills stay here. There were some off-putting printed announcements in the lobby about cannibus, paying the bill and general behaviour (lobby registration required a key to enter) but that's the world we now live in. Would stay here again should I need comfortable budget property.

WE stayed in two different rooms. Both were clean. The second room had some difficulty with closing the bathroom door. A nice room for a more than fair price.
