Nice hotel. Serves a very nice dinner. Two point of improvement: 1. The bride house has a humidity /water problem. It smells very mouldy. When I mentioned this upon checkout the hostess reached 'surprised' even though the place had multiple air fresheners. 2. The final bill includes drinks we did not consume. Our bill was corrected by over 20 euro's. The same happened for the people in front of us. We were only served by the owner, so why was this mistaken made? This should not happen in a good restaurant. Take home message: do not take the bride house room and check the final bill! Besides that all was well.

This is our favourite hotel in Zeeland. Small scale, comfortable rooms, in a very green environment and what a great food! We recommend the “boven the tuin kamers” which are very large and have a nice terrace overlooking the magnificent garden and also the period when they serve lobster (May-June).

Not client focused: - Long waits in unattended reception - can’t even check out till the computer warms up at 8:15 - Deep gravel between rooms through which you are invited to drag your own baggage - just walking in it is an injury risk - rooms incredibly hot and steamy - poorly ventilated - rooms quite basic - but not competitively priced - apparently the only reason to stay here is to experience the restaurant - lobster a speciality - but even booking the restaurant 5 months ahead you can be bumped out for other clientele and invited to take an 80 euro taxi to and from another restaurant in neighbouring town (which was great and much more welcoming, by the way) - very pleasant general environs but least welcoming hotel experienced in the NL

We had high hopes for this hotel as it is located in a gorgeous road and has pretty grounds. Arrived on a very hot day and were greeted with a not very friendly welcome. No room in the bike store but luckily no rain predicted so we left our bikes in the garden. The rooms we were given had no view (unless you like a flat roof view) and were very small and dingy. Could do with a refurb. Just a fan - no aircon. Lumpy pillows. Were not able to have drinks out the front as not enough staff to serve. However, on the good side the half board meal was excellent and we were served by a very personable and knowledgeable waiter. Breakfast was good. Most food items very ‘covid friendly’ and individually wrapped. I’m sure there are better garden rooms available if you are staying longer.

Gezellig en gemoedelijk hotel met vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel Je voelt je meteen thuis. Het restaurant is een omweg zeker waard. Culinair is het zeker en ook aan goede wijn /spijs combinatie is gedacht. Kortom wij komen zeker terug !!

We hebben genoten van het Wildarrangement. Heerlijk viergangen diner met zorg bereid en geserveerd. Rijk aan smaak en heel gevarieerd . Goed advies over bijpassende wijn en eventuele alternatieven. Wij zijn niet zo gecharmeerd van zoetigheid, dus kozen we voor een erg lekker kaasplankje. Daarna prima geslapen in een ruime kamer en de volgende morgen een uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet waaraan werkelijk niets ontbrak. Wij komen zeker nog weer eens terug!

Ein schönes Hotel in Zeeland mit super Service und einem wirklich sehr guten Restaurant. Wenn sie schon mal dort sind, sollten sie dieses auf jeden Fall nutzen. Englisch und Deutsch wird gesprochen und es wurde uns sehr einfach gemacht, dass wir uns wohlfühlen konnten. Wir waren schon zum 2. mal dort und haben auch schon wieder gebucht...

De kamer en badkamer was niet groot of luxe, wel netjes zoals het hoort. Minpuntje was dat huishoudelijke dienst nog voordat we moesten uitchecken de kamer kwam binnengestormd zonder te kloppen! Dit kan dus echt niet, altijd kloppen is wel zo beleefd.

Op een stille verborgen plek ligt dit hotel met restaurant waar het goed toeven is. Prima kamer en goede bedden. Het restaurant biedt voor een ieder een goede keus. Mooi gedekte tafels in klassieke sfeer. Ruime wijnkeuze maar ook bijpassende arrangementen. Ontbijt is uitstekend o.a. met verse jus d'orange.
