"1-Star Review – Extremely Poor Experience, Poor Hygiene and Unprofessional Management I stayed at this hotel yesterday for only around 7 hours, and unfortunately, even for such a short stay, the experience was extremely disappointing. Given the rates charged by the hotel, the level of service, hygiene and management was nowhere close to what a guest should reasonably expect. The biggest concern was the hygiene and cleanliness of the room. I found a large number of worm/insect-like larvae in the room, as clearly visible in the attached photographs. This is completely unacceptable for any hotel and raises serious concerns about basic housekeeping and hygiene standards. There were several other issues: No proper way to contact reception: An intercom was provided in the room, but there was no number/instruction indicating which button or number should be used to contact reception. A basic facility such as contacting the front desk should be clearly explained. Wi-Fi was not working: When this was raised with the management, instead of addressing the issue professionally, I was told that Wi-Fi does not fall under the hotel's mandatory services. This was a rather surprising response for a hotel charging the rates it does. Questionable approach to housekeeping: I was also told that cleaning is not a mandatory service. This is particularly difficult to understand when the hotel is charging guests for accommodation and presenting various facilities as part of its services. Poorly handled customer communication: Rather than acknowledging the problems and trying to resolve them, the management's responses were defensive and, at times, illogical. One staff member even used his background as a mechanical engineer to claim knowledge of how telecom/Wi-Fi systems work, despite the discussion being about why the hotel's Wi-Fi service was not functioning. The argument was irrelevant to the actual customer complaint and did nothing to resolve the problem. Unprofessional staff and management: The overall interaction suggested a lack of basic hospitality and customer-service orientation. Instead of listening to the guest and resolving genuine concerns, the emphasis seemed to be on explaining why the hotel was not responsible for the problems. What is particularly disappointing is the mismatch between the price being charged and the standard of service being delivered. Guests should not have to argue with management about whether basic cleanliness, functioning facilities and reasonable assistance constitute "services." I have stayed in many hotels, and I understand that occasional technical problems can happen. The real issue here is how the hotel responds to those problems. In this case, the hygiene issue was serious, the Wi-Fi was unavailable, there was inadequate information for contacting reception, and the management's response was largely dismissive rather than solution-oriented. "I stayed at this hotel for 5 days, and it turned out to be one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. After checkout, I requested them to keep my luggage for a few hours. They stored it in their so-called “safe room,” which shockingly was open to any staff member — no control, no supervision. When I later checked my belongings, I discovered that my silver coin had been stolen from a purse that was zipped and kept inside a box. When I confronted the staff, they were extremely rude, dismissive, and unapologetic. The Sales Manager, Sanjay Kumar, behaved arrogantly and refused to take any responsibility. They conveniently claimed that no CCTV cameras were working, clearly to avoid accountability. To make matters worse, they made up excuses and refused to share contact details of higher authorities, showing how deeply unprofessional and dishonest their management is. One of the receptionists even admitted that others had complained about similar incidents, which makes it obvious that theft and negligence are recurring problems here. This hotel is not only unsafe but also run by staff who have no ethics, no discipline, and no respect for guests. I strongly urge everyone — do not stay at this hotel under any circumstances. Your belongings are not safe, and if something goes wrong, you will be met with lies, arrogance, and zero accountability. This place is a disgrace to the hospitality industry and should be strictly avoided."
