Very nice hotel with a good restaurant and super helpful and friendly staff who is willing to go the extra mile. Convenient located with about 20 to 30 minutes car ride to either train station or airport. Walking access to many restaurants and stores, I will for sure stay again during my next visit

Staying in this hotel was really the right choice for me. I am an English teacher and have been in China for six months. It was an enjoyable experience at the Ningbo Kaiyuan Mingdu Hotel. The rooms have adequate heating, and we got fresh towels and water every day. Mengna's butler service is very good, she sent us milk and fruit as a gift to our room during Christmas. This hotel is really amazing. Ordering takeout can be delivered to the room door using A robot which makes it really convenient. It's worth a visit! The hotel is also equipped with a heated swimming pool and a gym, and spa. The breakfast was buffet and had a variety of things to eat. The rooms are spacious and bright and beautiful. I was placed on the 17th floor, which is a higher floor and very quiet. Great service, the staff are very friendly, I highly recommend it.

New Century Resort Jiulong Lake exceeded all my expectations and provided a truly enjoyable stay. The staff was incredibly friendly, going out of their way to be helpful and offering valuable tips on things to do in the area. 包智慧 was especially kind and helpful! The room I stayed in had a beautiful view of the water, giving it a tropical vibe. The breakfast buffet had a wide selection of delicious options, and the resort was very family-friendly. While it was a shame that the outdoor pool was only open in July and August, the indoor pool and hot tub were still great. The resort's proximity to the Scenic Area allowed for a day of exploration, with hiking trails leading to waterfalls and a lovely temple. The resort was surrounded by lush trees, creating a serene atmosphere that I highly recommend. The option to rent bikes and participate in various activities added to the enjoyment of the stay. I particularly appreciated the pleasant bonfire evenings with music, which provided a nice touch without being too loud. Overall, I highly recommend New Century Resort Jiulong Lake as a place to relax and unwind. It's conveniently located just a 45-minute taxi ride from the Ningbo train station.

Recently, we were fortunate to stay at Ningbo Xinyuan Meilun Hotel (Tianyi Square), and we felt quite deep for a few days. 1． This store is strategically located in the city center, within easy reach of Tianyi Square, Tianyi Pavilion, Yuehu Park, Zhejiang University Medical College First Affiliated Hospital, and Chenghuang Temple. 2. The layout of the rooms is reasonable, the facilities are well-equipped, and the guest experience is comfortable and convenient. 3． The service management staff is warm and thoughtful, and the guests are at home. 4. The breakfast environment is elegant, the variety of meals is wide, suitable for north and south tastes, and the guests are selective. 5． Highlights① The room is equipped with a high-quality water filter system, so that guests can enjoy high-quality drinking water at any time. The laundry room is fully equipped and the experience is excellent. We give the hotel a big praise!

I had a very pleasant stay at Wanda Moments. I am in-between apartments and needed to stay nearby family. Xiao Qui specifically and the rest of the staff really took care of me. I planned on staying one night but due to Xiao’s amazing customer service and her attention to customer care, I decided to stay 3 nights. The hotel has a Harry Potter vibe which I love, really convenient location with a mall nearby and very clean. I love the smart toilet addition in the Deluxe rooms! Thank you Wanda Moments!

Top in terms of location, facilities, staff friendliness and room standards. Zero stars for the quality of the dining experience, I'm afraid. Mediocre local dishes hopelessly overpriced and way below average by Ningbonese standards. Could have gone to Hanling village down the road or a bit further into Yinzhou for the same or similar dishes at a tenth of the price (and better quality). We felt it was quite an insult and if it hadn't been rather late and we hadn't been starving, we would have gotten up again and jumped in a Didi. My workplace canteen offers similar local dishes at less than 10 kuai/dish (ok, not a valid comparison, I must admit, but even the most expensive local restos don't charge more than 50 kuai either and provide bigger size portions and tastier). The portions were tiny and starters were priced on average at 100+ kuai while the mains, the size of starters, were on average 220+ kuai. Hardly reasonable for some seasonal veggies and 10 tiny rubbery beef cubes. The white wine hadn't been cooled (happens all the time but kinda unexpected if you pay 4,000 kuai a night for a resort in one of Ningbo's prime locations) and it was a cheap bottle priced at nearly 80 kuai a glass. Having stayed in a variety of luxury lakeside venues across Zhejiang over the years, we were pretty taken aback. For me it was the worst value for money food experience during my entire time in China. We loved our suite, the fitness facilities as well as the architecture of the entire resort though. The service was pretty professional and friendly even though hardly anyone speaks English which is surprising given that this place is regularly frequented by non-Chinese speakers from the local areas nearby (and we saw plenty of those for lunch). Also, in comparison to similar properties across Ningbo and Zhejiang, the breakfast was the worst also. Never mind the continental and English style brekkies (sometimes difficult to get right, we get that), even the Chinese dishes were mediocre (such as the soups, fried items etc) which was surprising. Should we return (we practically live down the road), we'll not spend a single penny on food in this place.

I decided to take a short trip to Ningbo and booked a hotel on the way. Because Dongqian Lake is still a 40-50 minute drive from Ningbo city, it was almost 10pm before going to the hotel after having dinner in the city. The hotel is a group of villas. Each villa probably has at least 4-5 rooms, a large flat floor, a bathing space as big as a room, a round bathtub, and even a sauna. It feels like houses should have been designed for targeted groups in the past. The next morning I had the opportunity to take a look at the outside environment. I saw adults playing ball with their children and setting up tents. It is suitable for friends and more lively if there are more families living together. You have to drive inside, so self-driving is more convenient. It's quite big and there's still a lot of construction going on. After it's completed, the courtyard-style environment should be more comfortable. You won't have to go to Dongqian Lake to play when you stay there. There were some hiccups during the stay, but the manager responsible for solving the problem was very responsive and capable. After being solved quickly, we will be in a good mood on the last day of 2023.

Great location and staff! Attentive to our needs and somehow we never feel like we’ll go hungry here. Special shout out goes to the lady who kindly helped us to place an order for food delivery (it was cold and pouring outside) - much appreciated! Would definitely recommend to anyone who’s looking for accommodations in Ningbo ☺️

The hotel is located on the east bank of the intersection of three rivers, surrounded by a rich variety of dining and entertainment options. The room is clean and tidy, and the air conditioning is powerful. There are bathtubs and showers with adequate water volume and pressure. The breakfast was rich and tasted very good. Service: A specialist took the initiative to contact me to arrange a high-speed rail airport pick-up service in a commercial vehicle. It was very considerate and there were guides at the station.

mixed review. some really excellent points and then some real improvement needed too. excellent: the food and beverage manager and restaurant staff were always friendly and the food was excellent (though I think the price of a beverages is outrageous). the Thai curry is highly recommended. the pools and spa pools are great the room is nice and the whole building is beautiful. a birthday cake and card to celebrate was very special and thoughtful. to improve: the cocktails we're awful each time we tried a new one...the ingredients were listed but not all present in the drink the check in and checkout - first and last impressions need to be improved. check in we didn't receive a friendly smile to guide us to the counter, check out was a long queue during the busy time, more shuttle cars are required, we had several 20-30minutes wait times and guests act a bit silly and selfish, pushing to get on the shuttle bus even when families with small children where waiting longer. it was 40degrees Celsius so walking was not a safe option. I had to call three times to get housekeeping on the first day and was told usually housekeeping only come every second day, which doesn't make sense. I don't need my bed made or towels changed, but I do need the trash removed daily. a bit of a strange policy for a pretty expensive hotel. the play are for kids is nice and the staff are generally friendly and patient. very mixed review I'm afraid.
