Almond Business Hotel

This is a modern hotel in a great location in Nicosia. Very spacious room with a bedroom and sitting room. Great rooms for working in. Excellent breakfast with very friendly staff. Free car parking which is very handy in centre of Nicosia.

We stayed for a single night and we'd happily stay again. After parking in the area behind the hotel (very convenient) we found the reception which can be accessed from the parking area - the check in procedure was quick (thanks George) and up we went to our suite. Everything was very clean and we thought the area was generously sized. We had a sitting room area with a small kitchen (we didn't use this but it would be ideal if the rooms' occupier didn't want to venture out to eat - there was a small fridge, small electric hob, microwave and plenty of pans, utensils, glasses, plates, cutlery etc). This area had a small balcony with a table and two chairs. The bedroom was large and the bathroom contained a toilet with a good flush and a shower cubicle with a super powerful shower. There was a TV in the bedroom as well as in the lounge area. We thought the bed could have been bigger and the mattress had a distinct dip in the middle. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choices. We met Elena who was a delight and had everything under control - other guests asked for extra-well-done fried eggs and Elena delivered these within a few minutes with a smile. Unfortunately there were none of the mushrooms referred to in some other reviews but we breakfasted very well. The location is a little way from the historic centre of Nicosia but it was very quiet overnight. All in all, we had a very pleasant stay.

We arrived and the receptionist was so rude barely looked at us wich was strange. When we went to the restaurant and ordered our food. We ordered regular beef sirloin. We dont eat pork because of our religion. The food arrived and we began eating and we get a strange feeling that they have served us pork when we specifcally told them we dont eat that. So we stop eating and went up to our room with a strange feeling and hungry and thinking why are they doing this. We call the reception and told them we want to checkout tommorow and wont stay the remaining days. We go to sleep and in the middle of the night at 12:00 our neighbors turns up the music very loud we wake up and call the reception to come and sort it out. The receptionist answeres rudly ok we fix. The music and the screaming dont stop til 04:00 in the morning. I called several time and they didnt do anything. In the morning when we want to checkout we tell them that we want a refund for the sleepless night and all they did was laugh and told us they cant help us with that. This Hotel was my worst experience. They treated us so badly.

Albergo con stanze grandi e abbastanza belle ma i prezzi sono decisamente alti per lo standard del paese. Mancano diversi servizi essenziali per un hotel a quel prezzo e anche le vie intorno non sono il massimo per chi vuole visitare la città.

En déplacement pour affaires, les suites sont idéal pour plusieurs semaines. Elles dispose d'une salon / Cuisine. La chambre est grande avec pour mon cas deux grand lits double. La salle de bain/WC est attenante à la chambre. Le petit déjeuner est correcte. Pas de restauration le soir.

Accueil chaleureux déjà par téléphone, lorsque nous avons découvert que nous ne pouvions par prendre notre voiture de location au Nord! L'hôtel a accepté de la garder 2 jours au parking, de même que nos bagages, et pouvait même organiser un taxi pour le Nord. Nous avons utilisé la cuisine, bien équipée, et profité du salon séparé et du Neflix gratuit. Très bonne literie, just dommage que le lit soit de 140 alors qu'un espace de 160 est clairement prévu à la paroi. Centre accessible avec notre voiture à cette époque de l'année, sinon un peu loin. Petit déjeuner quelconque (pas de pain frais)
