We’re here in town for one night to celebrate New Year’s Eve. The Shaw Club is one of Niagara-on-the-Lake’s most quaint and well-appointed Inns. With only 30 rooms, the hotel has a very warm, friendly and personal feeling.
The staff are incredibly helpful, friendly and accommodating. Everyone we’ve encountered here today has been excellent.
Rooms are cozy, comfortable and very clean. Real glassware in the room in the epicentre of Wine Country is definitely appreciated. Beds are comfortable and turned down well.
Guest rooms also come with paper diaries for guests to leave notes after their visit, which is something I would have never realized was so cool, but it really does give the B&B vibe, which fits well here, even while being an actual hotel.
Shaw Club has definitely secured long-term friends in us. We will return without hesitation.

Fun place. Super nice staff. Great breakfast. Bed comfy but king is two twins pushed together. Pillows are not the best-hard. Bedding is fresh and clean. Shower pressure is great. TV screen was burnt out - bad color. Not a huge deal but they should change it.

Old building, rooms have scratched furniture, not updated. Air-conditioner is noisy during night, bathroom has no heating.
Overall, nothing special.
Close to the main street for easy walking, on the positive side.

Terrific hotel. Nicely located and part of Vintage so we were able to take the shuttle to the Cannery for dinner. Also didnthe wine trolley tour which was great. Highly rexommend. Candace was an amazing trolley driver who is a fantastic ambassador for NOTL.

I appreciated the proximity to the Main Street and the EV charging. Unfortunately, the room (207) was drafty with cold air coming in from under the heater unit. Second the bed was NOT a kind bed but 2 twin beds joined together ! Otherwise decent room.

We decided to stay here because we were going to the Shaw Festival theater. It was our 36th anniversary. I decided to pay for a better/larger room with a Jacuzzi because I thought it would be a nice room. I was wrong!! The room was very dirty. It looked like it was cleaned but not well. There were spots on the sink, "splash" around the sink and dirty run marks on the sink cabinet door. The room was dusty(very dusty) and there stuff under the bed that should have been vacuumed long ago. This tarnished our anniversary stay in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The rest of our trip was good but we would have to think twice about spending the money we did. On that note, the front desk said because we paid through ******* they could not compensate us. I received no response from a manager at the hotel . I emailed pictures and then 2 days later I got an "apology email" saying I could get a discount to return ............ to an unclean room?!? I think not.

There were four of us friends, and we enjoyed congregating in the comfortable lobby area as our rooms weren’t quite suited for that. We didn’t necessarily love the Jacuzzi tub that was in both of our rooms and we did not use them. We would’ve preferred a table or another couple of chairs where we could have hung out together.
