Breakfast was hit and miss, some of our stay they had no bacon, eggs or orange juice, always waiting on delivery, once we got the food it was really nice. Rooms were modernised with the refit and the bedroom view was to die for with a fantastic beach view, the windows need cleaning on the outside more often to enjoy the full potential of the views, the bed was very uncomfortable the first 2 nights I had constant back pain, I resorted to going out to buy a mattress topper to get me through, the usb on the headboard only worked if the main ceiling light was on. My opinion on the mattress situation check out premier inns you can’t go wrong with there’s ( only because I’m a supervisor for a Travelodge up North and we get the same complaints) Assistant manager Jay was absolutely brilliant an asset to the team, he went above and beyond to make sure we had a good room and to make sure it was all ready for us. Room was really nice the views of the sea were amazing, the room was very clean, the chairs in the room were so comfortable, the only problem was the fan was dirty. Martina is fantastic, she was very bubbly which in this industry goes along way, I wouldn’t mind Martina being transferred to my Travelodge to work with my team, she was very happy, smiling and very helpful, nothing was too much for her. Asta at breakfast was really good, constantly topping everything up and clearing tables, greeting all customers always a smile on her face. Puoen in the bar cafe she was amazing always smiling and laughing nothing was ever too much trouble for her, she is a massive asset to your hotel, again I wish we could take her to our hotel We loved our stayed and would definitely come back in an heart beat.
