Oceanfront M Boutique Hotel

I would give this property 5 stars if the payment/check in process hadn't been so sketchy. When I booked, there was no option to pre-pay, only to pay at the property. Less than 24 hours before my check-in time, I received a message from the owner requesting my email so she could send me the "check-in instructions". I sent my email address, to which she sent a credit card authorization form and asked me to text a photo of my ID to a mobile number. This seemed wildly unprofessional to me as I've been an ******* member for years and always see their disclaimers all over every correspondence, clearly stating NOT to share your personal information outside of the platform. I responded to the owner with a screenshot of *******'s warning about sharing personal info/making payments outside of the app and then called customer service. After speaking with two ******* representatives, the only options that were offered to me were to cancel or proceed with paying the owner outside of the platform. At this point, I had spent over 2 hours on the phone with them and it was after midnight, the day of my flight so I finally gave up, paid the owner and hoped for the best. I still feel extremely uncomfortable about the whole thing. After my credit card was charged, I received a text with the code to enter the property, as well as my unit. As far as the property goes, I loved it. It's right on the beach and very clean with modern updates. Could not have asked for a better location.

I honestly don’t know why this place has such bad reviews. I figured I’d write my review because I hesitated to book this place due to the reviews on here. I went ahead and booked for the view and I’m glad I did! The place was clean and the view and accessibility to the beach is perfect! There were more than enough towels for our stay and the water was slow to get hot but it did and was just fine. The building and neighbors felt safe and the owner contacted me the day before and day of to send check in info. I had a question about the Wi-Fi once we were there and they got back to me right away. I would definitely book this again and recommended to family for their upcoming trips.

No building number visible, No chair or sofa in room as shown in photo's, one wash cloth, one coffee mug, one water glass, paid for cleaning and was told to take out the trash

No employees on site if you need assistance, communication was so bad I cancelled my reservation

The room was great. It had recently been upgraded, and it showed. Bed was comfortable…but the view. The view was exactly what my wife wanted-a direct view of the beach and ocean! Only negatives-had an issue with the auto door not locking to our room and a Wi-Fi issue, but Mona was able to help get both of them sorted out in a timely manner. There is no AC, but there is a fan. The biggest negative-the parking. There is no parking, it’s all public parking. It took us 40 mins to find a spot. But otherwise, it was a very nice stay!

Great location. Check in process was hard. Finally got in. Stayed 2 nights, only 2 bath towels, no hand towels or washcloths or bath mat. No soap to wash hands, 1 roll of TP. Room itself was nice. Would stay if location worked, but would bring things not there. No one on-site to help.

Exquisite view. Safe beach neighborhood. Very clean. The web page said I could get reserve a dedicated parking spot for a fee, but at checkin I was told that wasn’t possible. HOWEVER, parking on the street was easy and not an issue. The checkin process is online only and I wasn’t given the key code until EXACTLY 4pm. I needed to request coffee pot, hand soap for the bathroom and sheets/comforter for the pullout couch, but the housekeeper was VERY fast and accommodating.

Property management constantly demanded i provide my personal email and Credit card outside of ******* platform. And canceled my booking because I would not provide it.
